A beautiful hotel with stunning grounds. Extremely friendly staff and a fab breakfast.
The hotel has lots of character, breakfast was good, bed was comfy!
In need of TLC in a lot of areas, lots scuffs and marks on the walls. Overpriced for the quality of the room. No air conditioning or even a fan.
Comfortable room. Good breakfast . Friendly staff at breakfast especially Tracey who gave us great local tips for Halifax .
Great location and beautiful historic building. The food was 10/10, we had breakfast and evening meal. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming.
We liked everything, but if I had to say something, it would be the rooms are a bit dated, but I am nitpicking here.
Old fashioned warmth and friendliness, professional staff. Beautiful property and gardens. Good food, very clean, comfortable and safe.
Nothing
Everything. It felt like a real treat. Staff were so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. So polite and professional.
Loved it all
A beautiful house and excellent room.
Steeped in history and the staff were very friendly.
We stayed in suit no 12. It needs updating, noise level was high, from above and also the corridor, banging doors. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower leaked and was uneven to stand in.
Not worth the money in our option.
The building and gardens, the warm welcome and the helpful staff
The house is set in the most beautiful walled garden. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the garden, take a drink or snack and relax whilst being immersed in nature.
Not applicable, everyone was welcoming and the venue is beautiful.
Food excellent.
Location superb
Nothing to dislike from us.
Lovely property and amazing staff.
It’s fabulous, but maybe a little overpriced.
Beautiful building food was excellent
Nothing
The setting was beautiful and peaceful. All the food we ate was homemade and very tasty. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The bed was very firm.
