We enjoyed our room as well as hanging out in the common area resting on hammocks and talking with our host and other guests. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. We could walk to shops, grocery stores and restaurants along the main street. Hot afternoons spent in the shade in a hammock. Our host gave us whatever recommendations we needed for hikes, restaurants, grocery stores and transportation.

An affordable, and cozy stay in the jungle with amenities. My husband and I arrived past check-in time due to gridlock in Panama City (leave early! Apparently this is normal). Brett didn't bat an eye and was very welcoming. He gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The hotel was walking distance to several restaurants, the market, bike rentals, etc. We had a rented car, but could have gotten around without issues by cab. We would recommend this place for your stay in El Valle.

Bret the host has created a lovely home on a beautifully landscaped property, with spacious rooms and nice added features. We liked the dining area in the room, and we made good use of the fridge and microwave. He had a nice set of very comfortable pillows for the great mattress on the large bed. We really had good sleeps. There is good natural air conditioning happening in the room with a nice cross breeze, and it was nice to keep the windows open at night to hear the breeze when you wish to. The room and bathroom were very clean and new. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard hammocks most evenings. The property is a very short pleasant walk to the town amenities like restaurants and shopping. The parking area has ample space for cars. We also really enjoyed chatting with Bret about his property and his experience with Valle de Anton. A very nice guy and a super host.

The property was close to town (walking distance) and Bret was an amazing host. The room was clean and breezy.

Room was very comfortable. Excellent location. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance. There was a supermarket nearby.

Solo traveler. Stayed several nights and it was perfect for my stay in El Valle.
I did not have a car and could walk everywhere. Also rented an e-bike for a day.

The room and property were fresh, clean and spacious. Great covered patio just outside the rooms with tables, chairs and hammocks. It was nice to enjoy the outdoor open space.

Shared kitchen was used every day for breakfast.

The owner, Brett is very helpful and welcoming.
He made the stay even nicer.
