Space and location
Lighting is very dim everywhere
Fantastic location, beautiful hotel. The reception staff and our BTLR Fredrick went above and beyond to make our stay so special.
I was staying with my 13 year old daughter for her birthday to attend a concert at Outernet next door. I had ordered tickets for the evening, as well as attending an afternoon gig. Unfortunately, the tickets that were sent were also for afternoon, meaning we would miss evening gig. Fredrick and reception arranged for us to be put on guest list for evening which actually made my daughter cry with happiness.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness .
Nothing.
Good location for central
Nothing not to like
It was quirky. I liked the fact is wasn’t a boring room
The outside noise was very loud throughout the night.
Location, size of room, bar was great and music in the room was good
Only basic toiletries, no vanity packs, extra loo rolls and was expected pay for everything even small bottles of water and coffee pods.
Had to call housekeeping for anything
About breakfast very poor 40 pounds for two people outside pub is not full breakfast
Room is not for me can't sleep
The an accommodation was excellent and the personal touches the staff included (remembered from our last stay) were spot on and thoughtful.I would highly recommend the 2 bedroom suites and apartments.
The room was awesome and had great facilities. Having a butler is a lovely and extravagant touch. The beds were really comfy and the showers and toiletries are stunning.
We booked primarily because of the location, and it is certainly walking distance to covent garden and tottenham court road - all very easy to get to. However, we made a mistake booking this place - the photos make it look quirky, creative and interesting. But the things some people might 'like' about it, are just irrelevant to why we would value a stay anywhere. So there's literally a fully stocked liquor cabinet (I mean 12 full size bottles of spirits to choose from) and huge range of snacks for the minibar (we didn't even look at prices) super dark lighting (we couldn't seem to put the lights up beyond murky) a party mode on the TV audio system. But no kettle / milk provided, no extra covers for the bed (there was just one flimsy coverlet), no bottled water. So actually the staff were the best bit as they had to help us out all evening with these requests, and did so graciously.
But it's not clear that the reception, the hotel rooms and the restaurant are all in separate buildings around the same street - so we opted for breakfast in the room, which meant toast arrived cold, but that couldn't be helped. Main thing that you need to be warned about is there is literally no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom! basically open plan (although the loo is tucked away but still). So if you value personal privacy aswell as staying all in one building this place is not for you.
