Vriendelijk personeel maar accomodatie liet te wensen over

Niet ontbeten, niet gedineerd

-De bedden niet goed.
-onaangename geur in kamer
-badkamer basic
-douche met gordijn is niet meer van deze tijd en douche moeilijk te bedienen. Badkamer moeilijk droog te houden na het douchen.

Bijzonder, anders dan ik verwachtte.
Pros:

De landelijke ligging.

Cons:

Ik had geen ontbijt gereserveerd, toen ik in de morgen in het restaurant kwam voor een evt. ontbijt was er letterlijk helemaal niemand. Voelde behoorlijk ongemakkelijk.

geen warm water (zelfs niet na lang wachten)
op de 2de dag zelfs geen koffie mogelijk

De kamer was veel te warm. Misschien op hete dagen een goedkope ventilator zetten, zal voor verkoeling zorgen

Het lawaai van de muziek tijdens de nacht.
Ik heb betaald om er te kunnen slapen niet om
's nachts wakker te liggen van luide muziek die beneden staat te spelen.

Cosy and beautiful.
Pros:

Beautiful property in stunning location, though the fixtures and fittings are a bit dated they are well suited to the style of the property and where it is situated.
Once we have received our food, it was absolutely delicious and filling superb and fresh ingredients were used!

Cons:

I was really disappointed with some factors; the lack of service from members of staff- in the information of the booking it should state that if dinner is required then it needs to be booked, myself and my friends were shown the last remaining table, we sat there for over 40mins (we were told the kitchen doesn’t open for food till 6:30pm) without any acknowledgment from their member of staff who was setting up the booked tables with cutlery and glasses while we just at an empty table, when we asked if we can get a drink we were ignored until we had to stop the actual owner who was walking by and stated our disappointment to what we were have been experienced, by that time we were looking at other places to go and we understood that we couldn’t order food but we didn’t even get any choices for drinks, he then took ownership and proceeded to get our drinks and food arranged. It would have been great to explain the check out process, we had to leave by 8:30am there was no one downstairs to check us out or lock the door behind us.

The food excellent and would return
Pros:

An exceptional small hotel ,all staff very courteous, who, on the whole spoke very little or no English, with the exception of the proprietors, but managed to cater for our needs well the hotel itself is quirky, olde worlde style, the flight of stairs to our room were steep and narrow

Cons:

The steep very narrow stairway which had no hand rail, would be of concern to those with mobility issues
