Excellent hosts made whole Solomons trip more enjoyable.
Pros:

This is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Honiara. JR and Jen are excellent hosts and made my whole trip to Solomon Islands so much better. Guadalcanal tours are great and JR really helped me out when I sprained my ankle on Savo Island by picking me up from the port and driving me between numerous medical facilities to get X-Ray, buy medicine etc. There may be more upmarket places to stay in Honiara, but nowhere as good as this.

Appartement fonctionnel, rien que pour moi ! Le wifi fonctionnait bien. La famille était adorable et a beaucoup partagé avec moi, merci beaucoup 🤩

Very difficult to find. Do not attempt to go there at night.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay and experienced the warm hospitality at Island Home

Wonderful homestay
Pros:

We loved everything about this place. It is in a lovely neighbourhood location, you can walk or public bus up to it from the main markets. They have a hot shower, a full kitchen (much needed as food in restaurants can be expensive), a laundry machine you can use for free and ample seating and eating areas. The Wifi is also great. We worked remotely here for a bit. Jen and Junior are particularly wonderful and full of great advice and care. Jen arranged our trip to Savo Island through a contact which made the boat trip much less expensive. I will miss my wee coffee spot in the morning overlooking the lush forest!

The only place to stay in Honiara if yoi truly are a Traveler and not a Tourist..
Pros:

Experience Real Honiara Home Living in a locals area, no tourists here and you will be welcomed and respected by the neighbourhood community for making their home your choice…

Cons:

The property is everything one should imagine when considering a Homestay in this part of the World and I loved it…

Wonderful stay at Island Home
Pros:

This has to be one of the most welcoming places we've ever stayed and we left feeling more like friends than guests. Jhen and JR are truly lovely hosts, great communicators and go way beyond what might be expected to make your stay comfortable. Their tours are fantastic and their advice is welcome and spot-in. They were happy to give us rides into town when they were going and even gave us lifts to restaurants. We've never been anywhere where hosts seem as interested in you and your experience, and they are more than happy to share their well informed opinions and advice on Honiara and the wider Solomons. I cannot recommend this place enough!

私は、お勧めしません、変わった経験をしたいなら、どうぞ！

良いところは、ほとんどありません、他の客がいなかったので、良かった程度！部屋数は3－4部屋で、共同キッチン、トイレなので、もし満室ならば、かなり窮屈な思いをしたと思う

Cons:

・とにかく最悪なのはロケーション、街まで徒歩25分、悪路の坂を下る！しかも、丘の上なので、帰りは登りが大変！！バスは30分に1本・洗濯機は壊れて使えない　・エアコンは追加でUS$37/日　・前の日に管理人の男性(Mr.JR)と「5時間1300ソロモンドル(US$160)で」約束したPrivate Tourが、当日の朝、車がない、という理由で、突然キャンセルされ、文句を言ったら、奥さんからは、逆に「あんたの態度が悪い！」と、何故か逆切れされた。結局、自分で、25分、坂を下りて、流しのタクシーと1時間100ソロモンドルで、交渉して、予定の場所4件を、周遊した。坂を下りないと、スーパーやレストランは全くありませんので、初日に、パン、Noodle、Pastaなど、4日分を買い込み、自炊するしかなかった。ムンダ島から国内線での到着で、空港でのPick Upを、150ソロモンドルで、頼んでおいたが、Mr.JRは、間違えて国際線で待っていて20~30分待たされた。もし会えなかったら、辺鄙な場所にあるホテルに行けたかどうか、不明。Wifiは、文章を送ったり、ネットの閲覧はできましたが、ラインでの友人への写真送付は不可、容量が足りません。私はランチのレストランのWifiを借りていました。これらは、全て事実です。普通のホテルのサービスを期待するなら、少し高くてもも、市街の北野ホテルなどに、泊まるべきです。　1人の女性が、ポイント５で、ロケーションの悪いことを、キチンとクチコミで述べてましたが、他の人が、なぜ、７～８など、高評価を付けているのか、全く理解できません！　また、悪い内容のクチコミがないのは、誰かが削除しているのではないでしょうか？？管理のご夫婦のことを、思うと、あまり厳しいことを書くべきではないかもしれませんが、ただ、ホテルの内容を誤解して予約し、予期せぬ不愉快な宿泊をする客がいたら、そちらの方が悲劇ですので、、事実を正確に述べました、繰り返しますが、全て事実です。
