Pros:

Not only was the room clean, but even though I had to check in at 2 AM due to my flight, they greeted me with a smile.

Relaxing and pleasant place to stay
Pros:

Friendly staff, nice room and small but good bar restaurant.
A couple of, accessible to all, balconies that were great for a quiet evening drink and meal and resting after a tiring trek.
The choice and quality of food in the restaurant/bar was so good that we did not eat out in the evenings.

Cons:

Breakfast offered a range of products to suit international palettes but most were not to my taste.
No ground coffee or fresh bread

Pros:

とてもいい場所です。近くにお店はたくさんあり、ホテルは表通りから少し入った場所なので静かです。ダルバール広場へも歩いて行けます。朝食は日替わりでおいしく、清掃も行き届いています。女性一人旅にもおすすめです。

My home away from home in Kathmandu
Pros:

I stayed at Kailash three times during my visit to Nepal, so it started to feel like my home away from home. I liked that rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, they offered plenty of bottled water, and they had a free transportation from the airport one way. They also had a reliable elevator, a scale to weigh luggage, and free breakfast.

Cons:

There wasn't anything I didn't like, but I always appreciate more breakfast options, especially around clean, fresh fruit and vegetables options.

Perfect choice in Thamel!
Pros:

Charming boutique hotel in Thamel! Location is excellent, the property very clean and delicious food at the cafe/restaurant. Last but not least, staff is really helpful and always smiling, from the manager Dol to the guys at the bar and the reception!

Good hotel for a good sleep
Pros:

My #1 priority is a good sleep, and Kailash is quiet a night with very comfortable beds with good quality comforters. I stayed in 3 different hotels in Kathmandu, and Kailash was my favorite. Good location (if you're in Thamel). Easy to recommend.

Cons:

Nothing. It was a good stay!

Top Emphehlung!!!
Pros:

Auch der 2. Aufenthalt im Hotel nach Trekking Rückkehr hat den ersten sehr positiven Eindruck bestätigt.
Kamen einen Tag früher von Lukla zurück und bekamen gleich unser Zimmer. Hinzufügen möchte ich noch,
man kann auch im on-site Restaurant sehr gut essen, z.B. auf der Außenterrasse. Gerne wieder!

Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in ruhiger Nebenstraße und doch nur 300 m vom Thamel Chowk (wo man von der SIM Karte bis Massage alles bekommt) entfernt. Mr. Dol und sein Team sind Service-Weltmeister, immer freundlich, immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer, das Bad, das ganze Hotel sehr schön und sauber. Sehr gutes abwechslungsreiches und reichhaltiges Frühstück, auf Wunsch Frühstück-Box bei zeitigem Start.

The Kailash Boutique Hotel was my welcoming home away from home in Kathmandu.
Pros:

The Kailash Boutique Hotel was my welcoming home away from home from the moment I arrived in Kathmandu. Free pickup was provided at the airport, and hotel staff and management were very warm, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious and filling, and the attentive staff member even remembered my coffee order from days 1 & 2, applying them for the remainder of my stay and my subsequent visit several weeks later. Hotel meals were delicious and reasonably priced too, which was helpful when bad weather made it unpleasant to go out to the numerous other eateries in the area.
All major attractions were either within walking distance or a very affordable taxi ride away.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything that I would change about the Kailash Boutique Hotel. It had everything that I needed, and it was well located for getting out to restaurants and for doing pre-trek preparations at the many outdoor shops in nearby streets.
