Love everything about this hotel. The beds are super comfortable, every single staff member is friendly and willing to help with anything we need (umbrella when it’s raining, juice/fruit if we leave before breakfast time), the food in the restaurant/room service is delicious, the cocktails are great, rooms are clean, quiet, and it’s a great location.

Pros:

It was very welcoming, staff very friendly and helpful and the Hotel was spotlessly clean. Food in restaurant was very good especially the Momo’s.

The only thing i didn't like is that the hotel public areas smell strongly of bug spray. Perhaps they have recently had extermination done.

Quiet and comfortable with friendly staff.
Pros:

Lovely staff (Ejaj went out of his way to look after me).
Despite the traffic in Kathmandu this property is nice and quiet, a great place to retreat to. The beds were very comfortable too, I had the best sleep of my trip here.

Our home in Kathmandu
Pros:

Kailash was our home in Kathmandu. We stayed here 3 times during our time in nepal. We arrived in Kathmandu and stayed a few nights, then went to Chitwan NP, returned to Kathmandu before heading to Himalayan mountains to trek. Then, we returned to Kathmandu for a few days before leaving the country. Each time we returned to the Kailash hotel, we were welcomed with smiles and mango juice. The hospitality was excellent. The hotel staff, the cleanliness and security were excellent. The location is great. We could walk to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants. We actually enjoyed the hotel restaurant better than many of the other places we ate. Kathmandu is a very busy, chaotic city. Having such a nice, quiet, welcoming hotel to return to was really nice. Additional benefits: they organized laundry washing, stored some bags for us while we trekked, and the breakfast was excellent.This was a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

The hotel manager provided exceptional service and made many extra steps to make our stay great and helped us with local issues.
The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the food delicious.
Really highly recommended.

Un hôtel digne de ce nom
Pros:

Le personnel toujours à l’écoute et disponible, très bon accueil du directeur qui nous avez gardé une très belle chambre. Il nous a envoyé une navette à l’aéroport gratuitement. Excellent hôtel dans un rue très calme. Je recommande vivement.
