Expectations vs reality
Pros:

Location and pictures uploaded to booking (probably taken when the property was new)

Cons:

Not clean. Does not look like the pictures on booking. Not functional shower pressure or toilet. No real time solutions to the problems we found, everything had to wait at least a day. Lower your expectations if you decide to book it anyway, everything is worn out, old or dirty. Has a shared kitchen but cook there at your own risk. We found hairs of every type on beddings, towels, floor and pillows. It may look or smell clean but beware of the hairs EVERYWHERE. Definitely not worth what we paid for it. There were cheaper options but we were fooled by the pictures. The bed of our room had a crater and our backs were destroyed after 1 night. We got moved to 2 other rooms, one of which had an amazing mattress but the toilet did not flush and we had to request a change of bedding (because of the hair situation) Shame that the owners do not invest in keeping everything in good condition. We only stayed because of the hassle of finding and moving to another accommodation.

Perfect for a long-term stay in Merida!
Pros:

I loved that there was a fridge in the room and a balcony that got plenty of sunlight. The kitchen and dining room downstairs were super convenient. The house was very beautiful and in a really safe neighborhood. There was an inexpensive tamale restaurant on the same street and a little breakfast joint around the corner. Great access to Paseo 60.

Cons:

The code to get into my room was way too long. If my husband wasn't with me, I would have almost certainly forgotten my phone in the room and had no access to the code nor access to call for help. I don't carry my phone around with me like he does. That part really freaked me out. Maybe a drop box for metal keys would be better. I wished the kitchen had a ceramic skillet instead of scratched Teflon, and that there was a line to hang clothes somewhere.

Best stay in Merida I've ever had
Pros:

The room was very quiet liked having coffee in our room close by restaurants very nice nieborhood .the house was very roomy and well set up felt like home

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some blankets my wife is very warm and I am very cold

Me tocó la habitación Izamal.
Excelente trato desde el principio, la habitación muy cómoda y limpia, tenía cafetera y suficientes botellas de agua, tenia cuenta de Netflix eso también me agradó mucho. La casa es bastante amplia, la sala bonita y el comedor también.
Sería bueno que revisaran el frigo de la habitación porque hacia ruido, de ahí en fuera todo excelente!!
