Pros:

Like the Spacious room and the pool

Cons:

They didn't have a backup generator and from.morning 10 to 5 no power.. they don't have basic animities like shampoo and shower gel.. poor wifi.. cannot offer milk for morning coffee for customers.. poor customer service

Teleurstellend
Pros:

Kamers waren ruim en schoon. Klein stukje lopen naar het strand. Airco werkte naar behoren.

Cons:

1. Ligt naast een Moskee. Dit hoeft niet perse erg te zijn als je daar op voorbereid bent, wij waren dat niet (0500 uur elke dag gebed).
2. Ontbijt is oké maar elke dag hetzelfde.
3. Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten, waarvan we er 2 tot 04.00 uur hebben wakker gelegen vanwege feestende gasten met harde muziek en die tot laat in het zwembad feesten. Er kwamen zelfs mensen die niet eens in het hotel sliepen. De eigenaar was hiervan op de hoogte na de eerste nacht. Aangeven dat dit niet oké is, en zijn reactie is “i dont know what to do”. Blijkbaar wordt dit dus getolereerd of durft de eigenaar hier niet op te acteren. Ben je dus op zoek naar een plek waar je lekker kunt feesten zonder consequenties? Dan zit je hier goed! Ben je op zoek naar een rustigere locatie voor een goede nachtrust? Zoek dan nog even door.
4. Kamer wordt niet tussentijds schoongemaakt.

Pros:

the room was nice and simple, everything worked well. the pool was very nice.
the staff was very welcoming and helpful, they responded to our every need. we follow a special dite and they adapted the breakfast for us. overall they were great and we highly recommend this place for a chill and worryless stay.

Relaxing stay near the beach
Pros:

Location was good just off the main road.
Pool was lovely.
Very good breakfast.

Cons:

Had to pay in cash but not a big problem as cash point just up the road.

Pros:

The pool is great and the beds are comfortable. You are very close to the beach and mutiple facilities like restaurants and supermarkets (3 min walk)

Cons:

The wifi is not really good and you dont have a great signal in your room. Overall we had a good stay, but it has a big price tag

Fledgling hotel with potential
Pros:

This is a fledgling hotel that has potential, they just need some more comforts & staff training. It was impeccably clean.
We booked a family room with bunks for the kids. Beds were comfy, AC worked well. Furniture (chairs tables sunloungers etc) look hand made & they are damn hard to sit/lie on, need cushions/pillows, especially by the pool!
Area is a bit quieter as it is a 5min (easy) walk from the main street, but it is next to a mosque so early morning Fajr is a tad loud, as is Friday prayers, but it only goes for a few minutes. The pool is lovely. I do wish this hotel success, they just need to tweak it a bit to be more inviting.

Cons:

Improvements needed;
*Rubbish bins in bathroom & room (kettle & mini fridge would be amazing too!)
*Bathrooms aren't very pretty & zero bench space area to put your toiletries bag etc
* padding on sunbeds & outdoor towels for guest use
* Change instant coffee to real coffee at breakfast
* Breakfast menu to view & ask guests what they would prefer

Pros:

Good (western) breakfast, big clean rooms and location 4 min walking from the beach.

Cons:

Bathroom was smelly. Like all other places in Arugambay, the cost per night is higher then other locations in Sri Lanka, even though the quality is the same.
