Cons:

Wintel Wild Valparai is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind in the lap of nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful views, while the peaceful atmosphere made the stay truly refreshing. Pros:

It’s one of the higher end hotels in Valparai. Has good interior design and the room is spacious. Try taking a room with a balcony to get a better experience here.

Cons:

Location is atop a hill so it’s a bit outside the main area. You have to walk uphill a lot so if you’re someone with knee issues, it might become a problem. Also, their cafe is not open all day and dinner / tea is served very late. Laundry took 2.5 days to be delivered back to me and they won’t wash your underwear so keep that in mind. I didn’t try the food so can’t comment on the quality of it. TVs in the room are not smart TVs and only show local content. So if you’re stuck indoors because of bad weather you’re kinda porked. WiFi is also unreliable.

The hotel has breathtaking views but its facilities fail to live up to the view from the rooms
Pros:

The location of the property is on the edge of the Government Hospital Valparai road. The view from my balcony shows the tea plantations and Sunrise in the morning. The view is to die for. Car parking was arranged for our car.

Cons:

The hotel though seems to be newly constructed has many problems. During our stay, there was frequent rain bursts in the afternoon which caused water to seep into the rooms inspite of us closing the balcony. There was constant current outage in valparai and the hotel didn’t have uninterrupted power supply. There was no WIFI available during our stay. The restaurant which functions in the top floor of the stay has been closed at times.
