Lovely room and friendly staff!
Pros:

Pooja was exceptionally friendly and made us feel very at home! Room was spacious and we had A/C at night. The food was delicious and very nice to sit in upstairs area in the evening with gorgeous views! Pooja also explained Alleppey’s history and culture to all passengers which we thought was lovely. They also help organise boating activities which makes the whole process so smooth and simple!

Cons:

Bit tricky to find but they are easy to contact and can help explain to driver where to go if there’s any issues!

Overnight boat trip
Pros:

5/3/26 The lake itself was beautiful, the room was good A/C good Food simple but good ,the driver of the boat friendly and tried to tell us about the things we saw, we had no other interaction with staff on the boat. People took tour and did not stay, I would have probably done the same, nothing to do on boat from 6pm docking until 8pm dinner and no drinks served except water after afternoon tea, so all inclusive means 2 meals one afternoon tea. You can get cold drinks at all. We paid above what I woukd have paid..it dropped by half when I looked on booking.com on the dates we sailed

Area leading onto boat not invitibg ,not clean..wouldn't take much to make it more inviting.l
Lack of staff non existent except for young boy serving meals. Saw captain twice and the young lady who meets and greets twice. The driver of boat only upside. They need to put a bit more effort into the all inclusive, cold drinks etc in hot weather, not really wirth what we were charged but goibg in the lake and canals a must, just beautiful

I guess food.

Cons:

Very hot with no ac in day time.
AC in our room was locked at temp 17 in night.
No good music totally boring.
No speed boat ride.

Cons:

I can’t say anything positive because I wasn’t on the boat. They insistently demanded that we pay a deposit in advance. I asked them to charge it through Booking, but they didn’t do that. On the last day, they wrote that they would not accept us, although they did not cancel the reservation on Booking. They had available rooms on the day of our booking but did not want to accommodate us unless we paid a higher price. Very arrogant people.

Authentic and interesting but not something I would ever repeat.
Pros:

I was warmly welcomed onto the boat. I was a little bit late for checkin and they kindly waited for my arrival. Very grateful for this. Travelling on the houseboat did enable me to meet locals and I was very happy that I could.

Cons:

I didn't feel that the accommodation lived up to the photographs on the site so was a bit disappointed. I do feel like the cost of the accommodation is quite high for what you actually get, especially when I compare it to what I paid at other places.

Great time with good service, views and food.
Pros:

Very comfortable boat around the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey.

Cons:

The boat wasn’t full so felt abit quiet but it was monsoon season so not many tourists around.
