I've stayed here now several times recently and the check-in process is always frustrating. You can't do the check-in just at the counter, but you have to use some machines, which wouldn't be a problem, but after you finished at the machine you have to go to the counter to complete the check-in.
It's also not like that it's inefficient, but every time I've stayed here recently there were problems with this process, like that I couldn't find the information I need to even find the booking on the machine. Last time I found it, but then there were other problems instead and some miscommunication, because I was just told "No no no" instead of just telling me in either English or Japanese what is required to do.

I understand that there can be miscommunications and sometimes something doesn't go as smoothly as usually, but the whole check-in experience being so weird and inefficient all the time is frustrating and should definitely be improved.

The towels used to be right at the onsen, which was the best since you could easily get another one in case you needed one. Then they were moved to the first floor for pick-up. Now you only get one in the locker and have to ask at the front desk every time you want another one. They are not being charged for, but now having to always ask for them and potentially wait, since the front desk also has to attend to other guests. I don't understand why this was changed.

About half of the toilets on my floor were broken. The shower area also doesn't look great and could need a renovation in my opinion.

People need to stop hand washing underwears in the sink and hang it in their pod to dry. It smells the pod and dirties the sink. People also need to stop playing videos on speaker and setting alarms that they don't wake up to to turn it off.

I think someone mistakenly used my pod and left a mess. Notified the staff who quickly prepared a new bed, new sheets, new pillow. One thing I've noticed is that people are using capsule hotel for many days and hanging laundries in their pod which smells the area and people play videos on the speaker more... People need to know that it is a shared space and alarms need to be either turned off right away or stop using snoozing mode which is more annoying with the alarm going off every 5 minutes ...

Capsule was generally clean but no one wiped my sideboard in quite a while so you could clearly see the dust on it. Behind the mattress it was kind of dirty.

Maybe I'm too western for this but I really dislike using communal slippers when going to the toilet. Also didn't have clothes hangers in my capsule and only randomly saw that there are small hooks for them when peeking into a freshly cleaned capsule later.

Price-wise you pay a large premium for the location I suppose. Renting out a very small apartment can even be cheaper (around the time I was going). Prices slightly lower on their website.
