Pros:

Rooms were big and clean. Nice grounds.

There is a bbq and bar operating in the pavilion on the lake - which had a good atmosphere and food and beer.

Cons:

It was removed from town so limited food options. Breakfast was just OK

Perfect if you want to visit the mountain
Pros:

It’s a pretty odd hotel as it’s so massive and static, but it was perfect for me! If your main purpose is to visit the mountain it’s great, they organise a free drop off to the starting point. Room was comfy and warm. Breakfast was good too with heaps of options! Ladies at the reception were helpful even though I speak zero Chinese :)

Cons:

There is nothing in the area since it’s out of town, but again if you are there just to do the mountain it’s no issue. I just had an early dinner and ate at a restaurant when I returned from the mountain before heading back to the hotel.

Huashan mountain area
Pros:

Staff went above and beyond to help. Service was excellent. Breakfast was included in the price and was a buffet style with a wide range of options. There is a large lobby with seating areas.

Cons:

The restaurant seemed to close by 7pm so I had to buy instant noodles from the small shop in the foyer, which were quite expensive. Other than that, it was a great experience. There is no bar, either, and I'd have liked to have sat and had a beer.

Pros:

It's a huge place and quite fancy. Price is OK for that. Comfi rooms and good bathroom.

Cons:

There is not much international about it, information is often only in Chinese signs and staff does not speak English. Were refusing to let me go to the included breakfast first, but the it worked. Wifi issues with vpn. Location a bit outside.

It definitely meets expectations.
Pros:

The hotel is in a good location. It is just in front of the mountain and they provide free transport to the mountain at the time of your choosing the next day. You book in advance. That is a pretty good benefit. The front has a decent enough lake. You can see the sun coming down on the mountain from the lake. The room was good although the bathroom didn't smell the best. The TV came with lots of good movies to choose from. Many hotels you have to pay for this service but it was free here. I watched 2 as I was only there to climb the mountain the following day. Most staff were quite nice but I think the main person that greeted me was not fond of dealing with a foreign person, maybe due to language difficulties. But I also speak some Chinese. All the others at the hotel were nice though. The breakfast was adequate. It was not gourmet. There were a lot of options but don't expect Michelin stars.

Cons:

Maybe one staff member seemed a little bit uncomfortable having a foreign person there. I didn't see anyone else foreign. The hotel itself is very big and more than adequate for anyone wishing to stay.

Great overnight stay if you want to visit HuaShan
Pros:

Located just by the foot of HuaShan park, the hotel offers great rooms for your stay while you explore the park. The breakfast buffet was nice. The reception helped us and drove us to the Ticket office in the morning, and also to the train station the next day.

Cons:

There is not much to dislike about the property, the only thing is that nearby there are not many supermarkets. If you want to visit a decent one, you need to take a taxi to the city center.

Worth staying, welcoming experience.
Pros:

Quiet environment, a bit far from Huashan. The two ladies were accommodating and offer to provide free transport to Huashan and to Xian North Railway station. Hotel is well kept, clean and spacious.

Cons:

There isn't any fridge in the room, no place to store drinks cold.
