The cabins are modern, exceptionally well equipped with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, satelite TV and great forest views. It has heated floors, electric blinds, dinning table, lots of cupboards and even bath salts.
This is hard. Most everything was good. OK the taps are those with a fixed volume and turning changes temperature. Quite wasteful. The bath tub should be screened from the rest of the Chalet as this is quite exposed. Oh yes, the road through the camp grounds is rutted.
Friendly staff
Clean rooms
And heater already on at arrival (was a very cold day (
Loved the location
Only downside was the condition of the roads leading to the cabins. Lots of massive potholes.
We loved all the heaters and electric blankets. We were so cold when we came off the mountain. We went out for dinner but the restaurant there looked alright.
Check in could have been a bit easier. They asked a lot of questions. We were already booked in and confirmed. We asked for cabins close together but still had to drive to the next one. They couldv been in the same cul de sac! We booked 6 months in advance i couldnt see the problem getting them close together! The cabins definetly need a clothes airer (not an ironing board), for all the wet gear.
Good location close to Cradle Mountain
Bit pricey per night

The cabin was well laid out and had everything we needed for a short stay. The heaters worked well and the heated blankets were a nice touch. The location was great, very central to the park entrance, lodge and hotel. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was lovely - great service, great food for adults and children, and lovely drinks list. There is a nice lounge area with woodfire and another break out space with games and colouring for children.
Unfortuntely as soon as we entered our cabin we were hit with a stale and musty smell. Upon inspection there was black mould growing in the bathroom. Black mould exposure is clearly very bad for your health, and I did not want to stay in the cabin because of this however there was no accomodation available on the mountain for the weekend. I tried to contact the resort through booking.com as we arrived late and reception was closed, but got no reply. The cabin was also dirty. there were visible food stains on the main bed and sofas. My husband contacted cleaning and they changed our doona cover.
Nice location, The park itself has everything you need if staying in a van or cabin
Was a little unclean
We stayed in a lovely two bed cabin. It was modern and so cozy ! There’s multiple heating options- electric blankets, heated bathroom, a gas log fire and a heat pump. It was thick ice and frost outside but we were as warm as toast
Beds were very comfy with lovely linens.
Kitchen well equiped with an oven and cooktop and kettle toaster and enough cookware to make a meal.
It’s very close to the visitors centre.
And the staff were all super lovely.
My only little gripes. Nothing big.
We could not get the tv in lounge area to connect to wifi and had to hot spot. To watch Netflix etc. - one in main bedroom was fine.
A few of glasses and cups were very dirty straight out of cupboard. No big deal to me I just washed them. But to others may not be so happy.
