Quick check in, easy access to WiFi, quite liked the bar even though I didn't buy anything
Fight outside room, very aggressive drunk neighbours, mold or damp in the room, fire alarm went off at 7am, no towels, TV remote didn't work, had to barricade myself with the unit as drunk residents was banging into it.
THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AND THERE WAS NO INFORMATION ON THE DOOR OR IN THE ROOM
I'd stay again but probably only if I had to
Nothing
Absolutely disgusting. I booked a deluxe king-size room the bed was a king but with a double size mattress there was no tea and coffee facilities it was just so disgusting 😡 the staff were not friendly at all.
Staff are lovely
The hotel is a disaster the rooms are dirty we had blood stains on our bedding a smashed tv screen holes in the walls there's the smell of cannabis thought the top floor the fire alarm went off at 5am thought the night young lads who I presume work at the hotel drug running was back and forth all night with doors banging due to all this we checked out a day early and asked for a refund for the two rooms for the second day that we no longer wanted and was told to go though booking.com as I did so the hotel has ignored and not responding leaving me 60 out of pocket total discrace!!!!
Noting at all the place needs closing down
Location.
Although the hotel’s location is almost a mile from the centre of Blackpool, it is located along the sea front. There are ‘rooms with a view’, however they are NOT any cleaner than the rooms at the rear of the premises which overlook the drug paraphernalia of dearest darkest Blackpool. You may be accepting of this latest revelation, but I can tell you I am not. I thought twice about parking my car among thieves and drug addicts let alone live among them.
1. staff. I realised half way through my stay that the staff are not normal. The reception or manager was treated dreadfully by his colleague who said:- “you can f***k and your guest can f***k off too, you f*****g moron”. If this is how the other staff treat their own employees, how do you expect they treat the guests. I realised that the manager of this hotel is simply there to police the guests. He is not equipped to solve normal hotel problems like, towels, parking, dirty sheets or bed bugs.
2. One could feel the springs in the mattress. Obviously decades old but the worst thing is they are full of bedbugs. Tiny often invisible blood sucking mites. I found the mother of all mites on my pillow. Unfortunately however it had already left a trail of bites up my leg and even on my neck before it comfortably found its resting place.
3. One could feel arrival the room should at least be equipped with clean sheets pillowcases and clean towels. These are basic hygiene requirements from anyone. There were no towels on arrival and the sheets had makeup on them.
4. The common areas were so filthy. Obviously not been vacuumed, well ever, with old food in the corners. There was an aroma of decay all around.
5. I was on the top most floor, but could not escape blaring music and loud sex and noisy argumentative staff at 2am!
6. Parking. Not unsurprisingly, the parking spaces at the rear of the property were taken because they were not managed properly. Although I had paid for parking. The cook had apparently parked there and refused to move. The back street was strewn with rubbish and there was glass everywhere.
The bar man Oscar Was completely fantastic he was the bar man and the entertainment that guy deserves a pay rise!
Na
I've stayed a number of times in various rooms including sea veiw with balcony ...rooms have always been clean and decent size bathrooms have always been in good condition and its close enough to arcades centre shops ect ...also like that there's a bar and music played including in the outside seating area
A lot of the times we have stayed there's always something missing either towels or no battery's in tv remote or no kettle so inconvenient having to keep asking for things also inconvenient having to pay £20 deposit as sometimes I have enough money put aside to pay for hotel and bit of spending money for weekend but have sometimes had to go with other hotels so I don't loose that extra £20 I can use as spending money as its no good to me getting it back the day I go home as I needed it during my stay
Great place friendly staff
