Sapphire hotel blackpool promenade

It was smelly, like others was smoking cannabis, not good at all and others had kids there aswell. No towels in rooms, toilet wasnt fasten to floor only 2 pillows the bed was like we was laying on the floor.
The windows, cold air was coming through was cold.
Lifts was not working as we was on the top floor.
Not worth the money.
In my opinion it should be closed.

Looks nothing like the Booking.com pictures or description - Entering through a nightclub style bar with dj playing full blast wasnt Thé most reassuring thst we were going to get any sleep - surprisingly we couldn’t hear it too much in the room…. Appreciate we only paid £22 per room however basic standards are not present here - not sure the bedding was totally clean, no towels so didnt use the shower although thst looked clean inside (Thé exterior was dirty), only 1 mug, no tea or coffee to go in the 1 mug…. We could’ve shared a mug of boiled water maybe…. 2 cigarettes and a viagara down edge of the bed, bathroom door was a plastic fold up thing with magnet on that didnt work so no privacy at all! TV turned on but remote didn’t work so couldnt change channels, alter volume, etc…. Courtyard view looks derelict and lots of litter…. Daughter’s room was exactly the same state, their room had a used fork and a cigarette, again no towels or tea/coffee etc, although they did have 2 mugs….vending machine on the corridor was empty apart from a row of condoms and a few drinks. Luckily we didn’t need to use the lift which was blocked by bags of rubbish and a mop bucket.

It wasn’t very clean in the room and was quite noisy most of the night

Oh where do I start....

My room was on the 4th floor, I have a disability and mobility issues. The loft was broken! And there was no help from staff getting my bags to the room. Another customer saw me struggling and helped me.

The room was DISGUSTING! There was no curtains and the vertical blinds where no defence against the high winds. It was absolutely freezing! . The quilt was very thin and completely ripped apart. The mattress was stained, the pillows where stained, the carpet was stained! Even inside the draws where stained. It was vile.

There was no tea spoon to make a cup of tea! There was no towels, I called reception to ask for towels and he said I had to go down and get them. I reminded him I was disabled and this was the hotels problem to fix not mine, as towels was in the list of facilities.

It wasn't even the cheapest hotel, it was double the cost of the cheapest and the room did not reflect the pictures on here!

There was a night club downstairs it was loud when you was down there, but tbh you couldn't hear the noise from four stories high.

Overall it was really bad. I booked two night but only stayed for one. I checked out after the first night, I genuinely couldn't stay there, it was cold and dirty.
