A locally run beautiful designed hotel with an authentic feel and kind and helpful owner and staff.
Pros:

This is a gem of a hotel. The only locally run hotel in the area. The owner is great to talk to about the local area and culture. He couldn’t be more helpful and kind giving advice about places to go and organising transport. There is such attention to detail in the design. It feels very special. The owner had made it all from reclaimed wood and there are touches to try to make it more eco liking offering filtered water for free.

Cons:

It is a bit of a walk from bars and restaurants along the beach. This is a lovely walk but we were wary of the dogs that bark guarding each property as you walk at night. That is nothing to do with the hotel though- we just were scared of the dogs.

great, will likely stay here again on our next visit to Bali.
Pros:

best breakfast, very helpful staff, lovely setting, if you like Bali you will enjoy staying at Kalyssa, we would be happy to stay here again, easy access to eateries and beach area, family friendly.

Veelbelovend, maar zeer teleurstellend!

De uitstraling van het zwembad met de hutjes is mooi, maar verder…

Cons:

Wij vragen ons af waar die ontzettend lovende reacties vandaan komen en of ze wel echt zijn. Van al onze 6 locaties op Bali was dit de duurste, maar ook nog één waar we het minst tevreden over zijn. Handdoeken die we op de grond hadden gelegd voor verschoning werden gewoon weer op het rek gehangen. Oncomfortabele bedden, Geen bezetting meer na 10.00 uur ‘s avonds en heel afgelegen zonder telefoonnummers of informatie. Komt niet veilig over. Zonder koelkast op de kamer en een eind lopen is het niet te doen om spullen koel te houden. Op de locatie verkopen ze Bintang en daar houd het mee op. Personeel spreekt slecht Engels.
Ontbijt was karig en die joviale eigenaar met leuke uitjes waar iedereen het over heeft, hebben wij niet gezien. Al met al een teleurstelling. Het zwembad maakt veel goed maar daar is het dan ook wel mee klaar.

Zum Wohlfühlen
Pros:

Es ist einfach eine sehr ruhige und gemütliche Anlage zum Wohlfühlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, der Pool ist schön und die Zimmer ordentlich. Wir würden die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und wären gerne länger als zwei Nächte geblieben.

Cons:

Es hat uns alles gefallen. Wir hätten nur gerne eine andere Decke gehabt und nicht nur ein Laken. Aber das ist wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit.

C'est un endroit apaisant au milieu des frangipaniers. La piscine est super agréable et le personnel aux petits soins. Le lieu est idyllique car au calme et pas très loin de la plage animée.

La magnifique piscine dans son écrin de verdure.

Cons:

Un peu à l'écart des restaurants et warungs sur des chemins caillouteux et non éclairés. Mais possibilité de commander à manger sur place pour éviter ce désagrément.

The pool and garden are beautiful, and the whole staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality throughout. A lovely place to relax and unwind!

Cons:

The breakfast could be improved a little, particularly the coffee, which could be better. That said, it’s not a major issue and did not affect our overall experience.

De weg naar het resort is onverhard en onverlicht. We hebben scooters gehuurd en dat maakte het erg leuk.

Calme et charmant!
Pros:

L’hôtel a un charme fou avec cette grande piscine centrale et les bungalows tout autour - les équipements sont simples mais décorés avec goût et propres.le personnel est très gentil.
La plage est à 5mn à pied.
