STAY DENIED
Pros:

I didn't get to experience the property or its facilities.

Cons:

I made a booking two weeks in advance, only to be turned away upon arrival due to what was described as a “double-booking misunderstanding.” Upon enquiry, it became apparent that preference was given to other guests with longer stays, despite my confirmed reservation. Although the refund was processed that same night, the town was fully booked due to a rugby reunion. As a result, I was unable to secure alternative accommodation and was left with no option but to drive back to East London late at night.

A good investment that need improvement from staff to bed and I believe it’s small things that needs improvement
Pros:

Good area and place itself well looked after even though it still being renovated

Cons:

Staff at reception not friendly at all but general workers were approachable and helpful.Didn’t sleep at all bed mattress was broken very bad that it hurt my lower back.there were no tissues and coffee but at last after complaining got coffee and tea

It was a good time overall.
Pros:

I liked the size of room and the facility was clean. I liked the location as well.

Cons:

They could improve their communication. I called and called waiting for someone to open the gate. They answered after 10 minutes and very nonchalant. Also our room had a weird sulphur smell. One room didn’t have an extra blanket yet it was so cold 😅

Enjoyable but dangerous
Pros:

Cleanliness. Spacious. Beautiful rooms. Friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

We booked the Executive room. On arrival, we got keys, room looked clean. Rugs could’ve been washed. Lights in the room were not working properly. We were told to leave them on and that they’d eventually stop. They promised to get it sorted the next day. But we insisted it be sorted that day. One would expect that there would have been an inspection prior to guest arrival. We got back later in the evening. Lights were sorted but we were unsettled about the fact that the room was left unlocked. We found our room unlocked on several occasions which was a safety concern for us. The most disappointing thing was that there seemed to be an electrical current running thought the shower. We would feel on the shower faucet when showering and would get worse as we continued to shower. This poses a serious health issue. Unfortunately we would leave early in the morning and be back late in the evening so the likelihood of this being attended was slim.

Unprofessional service
Pros:

I am extremely disappointed with how my booking was handled. I secured my reservation about a week in advance and confirmed it again on the day, only to later be told that the hotel had been overbooked.

What made the situation even worse was that when we arrived after traveling a very long distance, we requested an early check-in so we could refresh before attending an important event. The manager refused and told us to come back later. When we returned as instructed, we were then informed that the hotel was overbooked and that our room had been given to someone else.

This was incredibly frustrating, inconvenient, and unacceptable—especially considering that our booking had been confirmed. Better communication, professionalism, and proper booking management were expected. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress and disappointment.

Cons:

The rude manager LERATO MAKOMBE MBAMBO.
I don't think I will ever use bookings.com and will advise all my friends and family not to use it if this place is kept running.

Pros:

the location is a bit far from central town, makes it a bit difficult to get food

Cons:

there was a lot of noise from 02h00 - 05h30 by other guests and there was no one to quiet them down. i went as far as leaving my room to find someone who would help, there was no luck.
