The hotel is close to the train station.
At our arrival the room wasn't cleaned and we had to wait 2 hours in the lobby. We arrived at 21:00 so it was quite uncomfortable as we were tired.
The TV is must be in front of the Bed it's very difficult to watch and it's only 1 couch and the table is very small.
Great location, nice rooms, comfortable bed
Nothing
The location is perfect, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Love the decor for the reception, honestly, I booked mostly because of the coastal theme and location to Central Station. Comfortable beds and duvets, we had the room with the balcony which was a bonus.
The bathroom is way too small, you can barely fit in there and also don't like the layout, the toilet is another door to enter and can barely fit in there. Bathrooms on cruise ships are more comfortable and larger. That is all I did not like. But for the rate I paid it was good value for my money.
The rooms were fairly clean.
Where to start! Terrible experience ever!
1. The name of the hotel is not the same as in booking. There is no sign or anything. We walked all around the building to find a sign with the name but could not find it. Afterwards we entered the hotel we think it might be ours. They said "yes , you are at the correct location, the name of the hotel has changed". Ok however why no even small sign with the former name of the hotel till all the new hotel names are updated everywhere you are available.
2. We checked in at around 16:30 pm (check in start @15pm), we got the keys and was told that we had to go out and followed to the last door for the entrance, that is ok but the hotel was not wheelchair friendly, so with heavy luggages you have to carry till you reaches the lift.
3. We entered the room and it was a single room, although we booked a double room. So we had to go back again to the reception with all luggage from outside of the building under heavy rain.
4. We waited almost 30 minutes to talk to the ladies at the front desk. She checked and told us " it is a system error" but there is no double room left etc.
She told us that we get a 2nd single room. At that moment, we overheard a conversation in German between the receptionist and another guest, who was checking in with a friend. They mentioned that they had booked two double rooms but were given singles. The guest offered to switch rooms with us, but the receptionist responded that she would not accommodate this change, citing that she would need the double rooms for future guests.
This situation was incredibly disappointing, as it left my husband and me in separate rooms on the first night of our vacation, which is especially distressing given that this is our first holiday together during my pregnancy.
