La ubicación y las vistas del bungalow
La comida era algo escasa y faltaba un poco de vidilla
Boendet har ett utmärkt läge med havsutsikt och en mycket väl underhållen privat vitstrand, personalen var alltid tillgänglig och hjälpsam och Pudin, som pratar perfekt engelska och har huvudansvaret för anläggningen, är en riktig encyclopedia. Vi fick en guidad tur med honom till djungeln bakom anläggningen, där hans farföräldrar bodde innan turismen kom och öborna flyttade till stränderna, och där fick vi plocka muskotnötter från farföräldrarnas före detta trädgård. Samtidigt berättade Pudin om livet på ön på farföräldrarnas tid. Mycket intressant. Pudin har också gott rykte om att vara en bra dykinstruktör. Om tiden passar kan det vara bra att skaffa sig ett dykarcertifikat medan man är på ön. Anläggningen erbjuder också båtturer till närliggande öar och byar. För oss var Pondok Lestari det perfekta boendet på Kadidiri. Funderar redan på att komma tillbaka.

Super séjour. Les repas sont délicieux, le bungalow face à la mer est confortable et la famille est adorable.
Sin duda la comida -que no el desayuno- es lo más destacable del local. En suficiente cantidad y preparada con cariño. Hay café y té a todas horas. El alojamiento está situado en una pequeña bahía de aguas cristalinas donde es posible ver vida marina, aunque el coral está totalmente destrozado. En marea baja no es nada cómodo bucear, ya que no tiene apenas profundidad.
El problema del lugar es que de ahí no se puede ir prácticamente a ningún otro sitio. Hay un camino por la selva que conduce a un par de calitas pero es toda una aventura llegar hasta allá. El mayor incordio es que si te apetece leer o relajar y alguien está haciendo ruido en esa pequeña bahía, no hay manera de escapar de él. De las dos noches que pasé, en la segunda de ellas, el mismo personal del alojamiento estuvieron haciendo parranda hasta medianoche, con continuos gritos, ya que parece ser que estaban jugando a algún emocionantísimo juego de cartas. Al menos siete de los nueve huéspedes estábamos ya en nuestras habitaciones intentando descansar, algo que no fue posible hasta que no lo decidieron los que supuestamente debieran cuidar de que no se hiciera ruido cuando los clientes pretenden descansar. Un despropósito.
Cute, smaller and cozy place owned by locals. Very nice food included in the price, good portions of fresh fish. Coffee and tea available, also snorkeling equipment to rent and nice tours to book. WiFi can be booked for a low price and is then absolutely sufficient. The huts are basically bathroom, bed (with mosquito net) and hammock, but what more can you need for some beach time. The staff is friendly and helpful and the beach is very clean and they pick up trash almost every day. Doesn't give you resort luxury but an authentic Island vibe for a good price :)
It's a bit warm at night and the rooms have no fans or Aircon. For me it was okay but it might be a problem for some.
beautiful cottages on the beach with scenic views of the tortoise blue waters. comfortable bed . the staff were so amazing,cooking fresh fish and healthy food. i enjoyed my experience here because of the family oriented and relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended.

Super fijn verblijf met enorm vriendelijk personeel. Je kan hier helemaal tot rust komen en erg mooi snorkelen!
Het is erg minimaal. Geen wifi, geen ventilator etc. Maar dit is natuurlijk ook erg fijn om even terug naar de basis te gaan, het is daarom niet negatief maar wel iets om over na te denken!

We stayed 6 nights at Pondok Lestari Kadidiri and loved it!
Akaa and his family were super nice people.
Bungalows were nice with hammock in the terrace and beach in front of them. Comfy bed and big bathroom.
Beach was also good for snorkeling. Crystal clear water!
Good meals ( also options for vegetarian/vegans ).
Great location. Quiet and peaceful. Great food.
That you don’t have to go away for snorkeling as a starter you can dive right away in front of the accommodation.
The price is very reasonable considering the fact that it included all the 3 meals.
I don’t know how to start.
1. Communication was really poor: I have had 3 different numbers on my wa finally (3 siblings I guess) none of them were really responsive enough to solve issues or provide help.
2. They have a policy about electricity. Understandable, since it is a remote island, it is provided from 18.00 to 22.00. However it is not mentioned before booking. You will know when you arrive.
3. I was told that the gsm signal situation was changing, but at the time it was good. Well there is no signal at all. And they sell you internet, which no one knows nothing about how it is operated. I paid for 50 K for one day I thought about before midnight…and I was told that internet was 24 hours, however it was cut right after midnight. So your hours counting even though there is no WiFi 😂. Then I asked the staff in the morning and they said it was good for 3 days, and wanted to confirm with the host (youngest sibling I guess) and he said no it was only for one day. Then it turned out it was more than 1 day, it worked the next day too, but I had already requested another code…well I am glad I didn’t use it then…he was not happy to hear that though.
4. Food was good, really when everyone was there, 9 people, but when they all checked out I was alone, a negative change in the quantity and the quality was apparent.
5. There are mice or rats or both on the island, naturally. There are many easy ways for them to get into your room. Bathroom drainage alone is sufficient for that. And yeah I found mice faeces in, around my room and within my suitcase.
My neighbors did too. I am not even talking about sink leakage.
6. Last but not least, the host (might be the oldest one) was in a fashion that felt like he was the boss of everyone no matter staff or guest…or maybe he thought he was a guest that needs to be pleased too.
7. Unclean rooms, mice, and their faeces, paid and limited internet, unresponsive hosts.
Petite structure familiale ( 5 bungalows) avec une super ambiance. Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant, la plage paradisiaque, les repas très bons et variés. Merci à Puddin pour ses soirées guitares 🎸 au coin du feu.
Les bungalows sont assez rustiques et mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement, mais surtout des grillages sur les parties ouvertes pour éviter les invités surprises ! ( chauve souris, crabes, souris, rat )
La bière chère...
L’ambiance familiale de l’établissement est top, Akmal et son équipe sont vraiment très gentils et l’endroit est incroyable !
On a trouvé en revanche que plus les jours passaient, plus les portions de nourritures étaient faibles, avec peu de variétés dans les repas…
