Great dog friendly accommodation. Clean and well laid out.
Nothing to not like.
Cafe attached to the motel is always good
New work going on the exterior so was a bit messy, but didn’t affect us too much
Great location 👌 liked getting a 10% discount at the Cherry 🍒 Street bowling club 👌
There is nothing that I didn't like.
Very clean, great layout, comfort and shower strong.
It took a day to get a wettex and tea towel - minor details really but otherwise excellent
Being pet friendly & having a cafe at door step whilst a short walk away from the water. Also the free tea coffee biscuits
Excellent location for what we needed to do in Ballina. We came to visit our parents in nearby aged care village and it was very close by. Reasonably quiet.
Room felt somewhat stuffy. It was tricky to get water for jug or to wash up, as there was only the bathroom sink
We really enjoyed our stay at Ballina Homestead, The location was great and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spotless and there was plenty of space for our family of 5! I definitely recommend this property!!!
The staff and location.
No.
Friendly, Clean and Pet friendly. Easy check in.
We were impressed with this property.
Beginning with the welcoming staff and the discount meals at the nearby bowling club was great.
The room had all the basics and an on site cafe.
The Italian cafe just around the corner, opposite the hospital, was also excellent for morning coffee and homemade ‘goodies’.
Nothing negative about this property.
Staff were wonderful and welcoming. The pool was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped. Dogs are allowed to stay in the room 😁
Close to the club
Nice and clean only thing I hate is stairs but where not to long
The bed was clean and comfortable and clean pool. (No shade at pool whatsoever) and no toilets or changerooms!! Only in the Cafe!? Makes sense 😳
Pretty much everything, amenities were not great by anyone's standards. 😕 Paper thin walls with air conditioning that didn't work well (during summer not fun)
Basic things like milk in fridge was out of date by a week, very dirty and broken ironing board. Shower horrible, tiles in bathroom even worse. Sneezed all through the night due to dustiness. One mirror, one sink in a family room? Couldn't even see out of windows due to glass being fogged? But not in the bathroom!? Odd design, not thought out. 🤔
In morning cafe appeared enduring yet only to have horrible coffee and not one breakfast ordered from 4 people was even decent, once again the basics such as undercooked eggs, burnt bacon, burnt bread, unripe avocados, hollandaise sauce (gross) location very loud due to being central to a roundabout. Too far to walk I to town with kids. Too far to beach. The parking was bloody terrible, the vibe extremely cringe, cheap and dodgy, did I mention moldy? Definitely not going back and wouldn't recommend unless very desperate, and even then. Very disappointing for over $200 for the night..
Facilities were clean and well provisioned in the rooms. Staff were lovely. Free parking onsite was great too.
Very loud neighbours, parking not secured so could be an issue for some. Otherwise, all fine.
