Great location, could do with some updating but it does the job!
Pros:

Great location and plenty of parking. Reception and bar staff very welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

There was quite a bit of dust on the furniture in the bedroom. The curtains and general decor is quite dated and the beds are on the small side.

A flavour of a bygone Ireland in its oldest town.
Pros:

The old-style of the building is really amazing, and unique in this current hotel landscape. A little like wandering around the Overlook ha! Beds were really comfy, slept like a rock. The owners Mary & Benedict are wonderful souls and i had a lovely time talking to both of them.

Cons:

Shower was a bit tricky to operate, that was the only thing.

Pros:

Had a great time .The food lovely in an easy part of village to get from place to place . Rossnowlagh a place of interest and great Chapel which I have visited many time's from a young girl..Would definitely come back . Interest not great but still enjoyed my time there.

I felt like I was at home in Ireland staying at this hotel
Pros:

The hotel is right in downtown BallyShannon
The bus stop is only a block away.
The dining room is absolutely beautiful and their rooms are our large and very comfortable

Cons:

I loved everything about it, no complaints
