LIES - NO first come first served parking. Be honest.
Pros:

Rooms well equipped

Cons:

First come first serve parking is a lie. I arrived at 12.45 to ensure a car parking space in the virtually empty parking to be told by the check in staff that all the places were reserved for a function that evening. This hotel advertises first come first serve parking. This is a lie.

Cons:

I only chose there due to having a car park - upon arrival no car parks available - paid a fortune at a car park place a long walk away - there was no manager to talk to about alternatives. Staff suggested to drive to Southbank and leave car in car park there. Catch a bus bank to the hotel !

Pros:

From arrival to breakfast the next morning to departure was smooth and staff great. Only 1 negative was our window was to a brick wall which was a little disappointing.

Okay, but the Australian breakfast manager needs to learn to smile
Cons:

The breakfast was disappointing. The member of staff was miserable and unhelpful, refusing to give me a slice of lime for my papaya from behind the counter as "those limes are all reserved for a function we're hosting tonight". The cold buffet had a few pieces of cheap ham and cheese, a lot of the fruit was underripe, and if you wanted a coffee made by the coffee machine, you had to pay extra.

Brilliant short break
Pros:

The staff are lovely, there's amazing views of the city and the Gabba whilst going for a dip in the pool/spa, Super comfy beds and all topped off with a great breakfast. Very clean!!
