Very large twin room with plenty of space to put suitcases. Good hanging space with iron and board. Large fridge, sink and coffee pod machine. Great pillows, comfy beds (maybe a little soft), large TV, lounge and table and chairs. Very clean and the room looked newly refurbished. Great shower pressure, large bathroom and good towels. Full length windows (that could be opened) with motorized blind. Efficient air-con. Very friendly check in staff. Great location next to the Gabba. Easy parking. Buffet continental breakfast (was included) was not gourmet, but very good with pastries, fruit, toast, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea - plenty to eat and healthy. You could order a cooked breakfast and a barista coffee for a very reasonable extra cost. Staff were very friendly and courteous and the view is excellent. Great value.
Very minor things: cost of parking was $35. The entrance to car park was unusual as swipe access was on the passenger side and you had to get out of the car to swipe. Room was right on the main road, so some traffic noise is to be expected. Labels on soaps etc in shower were very faint, so without my glasses on I didn't know which was which (at first). Fan in bathroom takes 10 minutes to turn off (but they do you this in the hotel info)
Very bad system of taking deposit and returning it back I still didn't received my $100 even after 1 month..have to change this system better take cash and return it on check out
Lighting, deposit system is pathetic, wifi not good, bathroom no proper things provided, noisy
Location
Breakfast
Good view from the breakfast area, and was a great hotel
N/A
Woken up by doors continually slamming in the middle of the night and an airconditioner that did not cool the room sufficiently
Your receptionist was fantastic. I had booked the wrong day and she was very helpful in rebooking me
the was no way to open the blinds in the room
Good breakfast and good location
Considering this is the first time I have used this hotel chain, I was given a room facing a wall with the room window frosted out. The hotel had very low patronage so you think I may have been given a better room to encourage me to return.
Good aircon, comfy bed, all day parking easy to find
The “pool” was cloudy with who knows what in it. Some of the gym equipment was broken. Only one staff member out of heaps we came across greeted us, the traffic was so so loud with ambulances all night long
very clean and comfortsble
Close to Gabba for the cricket. Amazing food in the on-site restaurant. Bed was comfortable.
There was some dog hair in the corners of the rooms from previous guests dogs.
No parking left on site during the night the cricket was on.
Proximity to Gabba
No parking, no rooftop bar open, terrible parking options close by - we walked 3 blocks - carpark over the road booked out as well. I booked the night before instead of the day we arrived (my own fault) but they quoted on the spot $330 each room (2) - but we booked on the spot on booking.com for $185 per room - so a bit lacking in pleasant hospitality/goodwill. Just a very average stay.
