Sehr freundliches Personal, Kommunikation auf Englisch gut möglich, Lage gut, zentral und dennoch ruhig, Zimmer mit zwei Schlafbereichen, nur zwei Zimmer pro Stockwerk, Aussttattung

Leitungswasser stark gechlort, aber das ist vllt auch nicht von der Unterkunft so gemacht

Pros:

Very clean, able to accommodate 4 people in one room, small building but comfortable. We appreciate all the staff working there and their dedication to provide exceptional service to their guests. They provided us with a free laundry service which we really appreciate as a family of four traveling for 2 weeks. Short walk to subway stations, restaurants, shopping, good breakfast place nearby.

Mir hat einfach alles gefallen, die zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage, das außerordentlich zuvorkommende Personal mit umfangreichem Service, das hervorragende große sehr saubere und sehr hochwertig ausgestattete Zimmer, in dem es einfach an Nichts fehlte.

Pros:

Wonderful little hotel in a great and quiet location. We walked from Kyoto station to get there and that was possibly not the best idea with 2 large suitcases, would not recommend doing that! Great access to Nishiki market too. Hotel room was small (we were a family of 4 with 2 teens so a bit tight but weren't in the room much) but beautifully done (wooden carvings, all sorts of beautifuldetails), we had 2 beds and 2 more that we made on the tatami section. The room had tea and coffee facilities, a small fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was beautiful (tub and sink were gorgeous). The staff were very friendly and always so helpful (they booked us restaurants on a couple of occasions), we could not fault them. Really enjoyed it!

Cons:

Room was a tad small for 4 adult sized people (2 adults/2 grown teens) but perfectly functional as we didn't stay in the room for extended periods of time.

Perfect blend between the traditional tea area and the modern room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to several public transport stations, including the local trains to Osaka and Kyoto Station.

Cons:

A bit humid in early spring, but the AC and dehumidifiers took care of that.
