I travel a lot but this was one of the most exceptional hotels I have ever stayed in. Simply first class. Staff so friendly and helpful. Bar food and breakfast excellent. Everything about it was great.

De kamer was erg ruim en de douche was fantastisch! Het ontbijt was lekker, alhoewel het misschien iets overprijsd is.
Het zwembad was jammer genoeg erg koud. Het was niet echt een binnenzwembad aangezien de ramen altijd open stonden.
Alles! Das schöne Zimmer mit grossen Fenstern! Gute Ausstattung mit edlem Matrial.
Wir waren drei Personen. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn ein Bett ein King-Size Bett wäre, anstelle von zwei 1,5 Meter Betten. Aber es hat uns trotzdem super gut gefallen!

The Marriott is a 5 star hotel in the heart of Adelaide. As soon as you enter you are greeting by a wonderful perfume, signature fragrance of Marriott Adelaide. The staff also greet you and welcome you in and you are taken care a the booking checkin desk. The downstairs bar offers earlybird work drinks and you can immediately walk to some high class restaurants. I stayed in the King room, and this room was in excellent condition and modern, clean and functional. The bed is very comfortable and the inform TV and access to Internet is easy to navigate along with the lights! Finally.
I think the selection of the mini bar items is not good enough, and the small packets of chips are charges out at $11 a packet compared to other hotels this was a let down. No juice in the fridge and you could order, however waking up would have preferred to have it there in the fridge.
No toothbrush, however was able to grab one from the front desk.

All the finishes were high end, beautiful and well thought out. Service was impeccable.
There was nowhere quiet to go for a meeting outside my room. The common area music was nice but to loud. I finally went to the 2nd floor where elevators exited nice seating there.

This was my third stay in 3 weeks. I Airbnb my house so I stay in hotels 50-80 nights a year and was hoping the Marriott would be my go to.
The first stay went well, the second stay was a bit average with billing issues and then being sent a blank invoice.
The manager assured me of an improved showing this time around. I changed my booking from here to direct to the hotel but sheepishly forgot to cancel one of the two rooms booked. The front desk attendant flat out refused a free cancellation for the accidental 3rd room. I asked for him to check with the manager and get back to me, that never happened. I eventually went back down a few hours later and he said the manager declined. I asked to see the manager and after apologising for my mistake, and also highlighting I was still occupying 2 rooms she begrudgingly agreed but said she would put a black mark on my name with comments that I wasn’t to receive any further favours.
The hotel was half full, the free cancellation had no impact on their revenue so to go to such depths to shame me was just silly.
I get up to the room, some nice cakes for my daughter birthday (thank you). I went and showered and went to tilt the shower head only to get a handful of human filth (see picture). I sent the manager an email but nothing was done, nor was my email or picture followed up.
This is a beautiful hotel, maybe understaffed?
If you want spot on service, try Crowne Plaza…yeah not as fancy but you are treated like a guest.
This was a great hotel, very close to everything in central Adelaide, the M Club King Room was luxurious and very comfortable. The room came with Lounge Access, which provided very good value and was comfortable.
I really wish more hotels would have the diffuser fitting for hairdryers.
The breakfast and the location are perfect!!!
