Relaxed and quiet. I did not have the opportunity to do any type of sightseeing due to lack of info
Pros:

The location was very good. Close to the beach and within walking distance to the main commercial area. The breakfast was monotonous and the food quality was not very good. It was also unpleasant to have stray dogs and cats wandering in the dining area.

Cons:

Stray animals in the dining area. Food ran out before breakfast time ended. Poor customer service and long waiting times. While the check in experience was good as a tourist visiting for the first time I expected the hotel to provide me with information on the best places to visit and more details on island events for the holiday weekend. Even details on events taking place at the hotel were not readily available.

Comfortable and relaxed hotel with very good management and staff.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and had a great view. Breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Port Elizabeth where there is a great choice of bars and restaurants, and the Princess Margaret and Lower Bay beaches.

Cons:

There was some confusion when we arrived as the room we had booked wasn't available. Fortunately, the one we were given was a perfect alternative which we would have booked, if we had known it was available.

Managagment was TERRIBLE. We had an issue that the front desk could not, or would not, resoolve. We asked to speak to the manager, but for the four days we were there, he was always unavailable--at lunch, in meeting, etc. and we were told there was no way he could be contacted (yeah, right). The problem never got resolved and we were stuck with an added expense.

Glad we didn’t stay. It has no atmosphere and is over-priced.
Cons:

We didn’t stay there. After getting a confirmation from you two months prior we got a message from the hotel that they couldn’t accommodate us. Had to spend a fortune changing our flights and finding alternative accommodation. We will never book there again.

Beautiful pristine hotel. Friendly staff
Pros:

Beautiful room and bed linen, comfy bed. Gorgeous restaurant and bar right on the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A great place to stay in Bequia
Pros:

Great location right on the beach & near restaurants & village
Very roomy & comfortable room with great terrace to sit out on.
Nice pool area & grounds
Short walk to Princess Margaret beach

Cons:

The breakfast offering was disappointing - no variety of fruit, no youghurt. Seemed abit disorganised. The cooked breakfast was very good though.

Almost perfect location!
Pros:

Beautiful location close to all restaurants and great beaches as well as the marina.

Cons:

The weekly cruise liners arriving in nearby Admiralty Bay will disturb the peaceful beach at the hotel as tourists descend. Usually three times a week. Generally manageable but can, on occasion, mean hordes of non hotel guests using some of the facilities. Service at breakfast can be slow when non hotel guests arrive, and buffet items could be more extensive and varied.

Fabulous week on Bequia at the Plantation.
Pros:

Beautiful property, fabulous beach, great pizza from the wood fired oven.

Cons:

Limited menu selection for vegetarian, and gluten free but we didn’t go hungry.

Great experience with friendly staff
Pros:

We spent a quick weekend trip in Bequia/at the hotel. It was a wonderful time. You’re right on the beach so it’s hard to complain about anything :)
We were there during the off-season so it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were truly lovely and attentive. The restaurant food preparation was also a nice mix of authentic foods (eg conch, catch of the day) and foods from other cuisines (eg pizza)
Highly recommend.

Cons:

For the restaurant, please experiment with making some gluten free bread or pancakes! Even if a guest has to call ahead to have it made, it’s always a great option for those who have that dietary restriction.

What a gem
Pros:

What a gem, hotel grounds very large , rooms we stayed in number 10 was just a few feet from the beach. And pool , view was amazing room was large and clean . Lotion was 5-7mins walk from the port. Using board walk. And not the main road. Breakfast was good service a bit hit and miss. Staff again hit and miss. But would definitely recommend it and would stay again .

Cons:

Staff service hit and miss. Staff seen a lot of the time having long conversations with the other staff members and guest seem to come second. Had issues with the tv losing connection. And had yo report it 3timed before it was fixed.once working it was fine. Staff would benefit from customer service skills .

Will definitely be back and I’m telling everyone about it!
Pros:

Food drinks and staff was amazing. The ambiance was 10/10! Totally loved that I could walk around the property and pick some of the sweetest mangoes I’ve ever had!
