Superbe cabane nichée dans les arbres et construite en harmonie avec la nature, jusqu’à la douche, une vraie immersion. Vue sublime sur les montagnes. Pour un moment unique en nature ce logement est idéal e très agréable. L’hôte est très gentil et saura vous offrir une belle expérience.
Sehr schöne und naturbelassene Unterkunft mit ausgezeichneter Aussicht auf die Horton Plains. Wir konnten direkt bei der Unterkunft das Abendessen bestellen, welches pünktlich auf die gewünschte Zeit auf die eigene Terrasse geliefert wurde. Beim Frühstück das Selbe. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Anfahrt mit dem Tuktuk war am Schluss etwas holprig, aber dennoch gut machbar.
The place is beautiful and well-built. The cottage is very cozy and has all the necessary facilities for cooking and making tea. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
This place is a dream come true, a perfect blend of nature, warm hospitality, and incredible food. You truly won’t want for anything else. I recommend staying at least 2–3 nights to take in everything around you fully. And the hosts, wow! The family makes a world of difference. They’re some of the most hospitable people we’ve ever met, and the food is absolutely amazing. Huge thanks to Kale Cottage for making this experience exceed all expectations!

Fantastic immersion in nature with pure privacy and communion with the birds. Dinner was really delicious with jackfruit seed curry being very special. Good place to detox and plug back into nature.

Kale Cottage offers a charming and cozy retreat, beautifully furnished with wood and unique touches like pebbles in the bathroom and a tree growing through the room. The host family is incredibly welcoming, and their homemade food is delicious. The sunrise view from the balcony is spectacular. With transfer transport and scooter rentals available, it’s easy to explore the area. Nature lovers will find this cottage absolutely delightful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The cottage is beautiful. Really well made with a lovely big comfy bed, kitchen, kettle, cooking hob and nestled into nature. Stunning views of the country, the mountains, and front row to the sunrise. We sat on the balcony and watched the clouds sweep through the mountains and valley. Then, when the sun set, the fireflies floated between us and out to the night.
The cottage Is wonderfully built and furnished, all wood , pebbles in the bathroom and a tree growing through the room. Peaceful and cosy . Lovely family and home made food . Spectacular sunrise from the balcony .
Getting there is quite hard. It would be advisable to put a sign on the main road
The view, the calm environment and the tree house concept are the most valuable things in here in the property. Owner is very friendly and he is very helpful.
Absolutely amazing cottage, the best one we have stayed in Sri Lanka, lovely warm shower, hosts made us dinner which was delicious as well as breakfast. Nearby waterfalls to cool off. Fire flies were beautiful in the evening. Comfortable bed, very clean all in all great. Would definitely recommend and will return when in Sri Lanka again!
