Peaceful enjoyable stay
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful quiet location however still easy to access shops/restaurants/beach.
Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to help. Would definitely stay here again

Etwas abseits, ca 1km bis zum regen Treiben in Unawatuna
Schöne Buchten - in der Hauptsaison ruhiges Wasser, Nebensaison Wellen

Fantastische locatie, super fijne kamers, maar tijdens ons verblijf flinke bouwwerkzaamheden

We hebben echt een fantastische kamer gehad, groot, schoon en een hele fijne badkamer.

Cons:

Bij de accommodatie zijn ze grondig aan het bouwen. Er worden nieuwe kamers gebouwd, een restaurant en een spa. Hierdoor was het er nu vrij hectisch en was er ook geen fatsoenlijke plek om lekker te zitten en een drankje te doen of te eten.
Ik snap heel goed dat ze in het laagseizoen gaan verbouwen, maar dan hadden ze in mijn ogen dit wel moeten vermelden ergens via booking, want nu hebben we gewoon de hoofdprijs betaald, terwijl dit in mijn ogen op dit moment geen reële prijs is.

Formidable séjour en pleine nature à côté de la ville !

L’emplacement (dans la nature, en hauteur, bruit des vagues, proche de la ville), la gentillesse du propriétaire et du staff, le côté assez original (et à mon sens privilégié) du lieu

Hotel with a fantastic ocean view
Pros:

Great ocean view from some of the rooms. Swimming pool with ocean view too. Fantastic location- close to Pagoda and jungle beach. The area around the hotel is great- it's like you are living in the jungle forest. Friendly and helpful owner and staff.

Cons:

WiFi connection was bad.

The magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. The staff is very friendly.

Cons:

Breakfasts and meals were not at all up to Sri Lankan standards.
Housekeeping wasn't done every day.
Terrific television.
The bathroom and pool towels were uneven and stained. The pool towels were actually hand towels.

Lovely views and large spacious rooms
Pros:

We were a family of 4 and the rooms were very large and clean with a lovely bathroom. Everything was clean and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely, and one morning we had bad stomachs from eating our and owners suggested coffee and lime, very helpful. The hotel is near jungle beach, walk down and near unawatuna (walk or tuk tuk). Pool was very clean, we had a kettle and fridge in toom.

Cons:

The hotel was difficult to get to, the road meant some tuk or drivers wouldn't go. Other than this this a good hotel for a good price. More furniture in room would be great for a family with more comfortable seating outside.. these are small things.
