There is a lot to say here, but in summary:
The deluxe rooms (without ocean view) are a complete scam. We were given a room with a street level view, so it was literally in a cave far from the idyllic image of what imsouane stands for.
The girl at the reception (amal) who’s also the manager was not professional and couldn’t take any decisions and asked us to call the owner and the owner (who was overseas) was rude and is there for business, so don't expect any kind of client centricity mindset here.
The room was equipped with very old furniture, a bed and pillow not comfy, and the bathroom is due for complete renovation. We had 2 encounters with big insects.
The breakfast was super basic for a morrocan standard
Very low value for money, especially that we needed to walk 5mn to be in the heart of imsouane where there were many better options with similar price and better view.

Our room had a window on the street side of the building. At night, it was sometimes noisy.

I booked a room that was advertised as a Deluxe, but upon arrival, I was given a room directly in front of the reception—far from the peaceful retreat I had expected. When I raised my concerns, the staff claimed they couldn’t do anything about it, not even adjusting the price to reflect the significant downgrade. I even asked for some form of compensation, such as access to the surfboards, but they refused. Their lack of flexibility or effort to make things right left me feeling extremely disappointed.

To make matters worse, I later noticed that the room they gave me had been removed from their list of available options online. This feels deceptive and unfair, as if they were trying to hide the downgrade. I can’t shake the feeling that I was misled and taken advantage of.

The room itself was another major letdown. The bathroom was not only stinky but also had visible rust, creating an unclean and unpleasant environment. The shower holder was broken, making it nearly impossible to take a proper shower.

The only redeeming aspects of my stay were the breakfast, which was decent, and the cleaning staff, who were friendly and hardworking. However, these small positives couldn’t outweigh the overall terrible experience.

Booking.com before, and I believe situations like this shouldn’t happen. Guests deserve transparency, fairness, and the room they were promised. This experience has left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

‏I had a lovely, relaxing time at this place. It was everything I needed and wanted from a hostel very clean and homely, my room didn’t have a sea view but was very clean and nice, great value for money. they have also appartement sea view but was out of my budget as I’m just a student, of course I had the access to the swimming pool, pool table, lounge chairs. loved the big terrace with the best view ever. had a great tagine at the restaurant. Also the Surf course was very well organized. The staff member treated me very well and was very pleasant. wifi strong, short pleasant Walk into the village , would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.
