Well maintained property which is great value for money
Pros:

Well maintained, staff is very helpful. Pramod who looks after the place is also a great cook amd provided me the simple meal that I wanted.

Cons:

Bathroom is very nice ….suggest adding a towel rack and place a wiper to dry it after a shower.

Le personnel est très accueillant, le patron et son frère se sont rendus disponibles pour donner des conseils et assurer un très bon accueil. La cuisine était faite avec des produits frais au fil des repas.

Pros:

Beautiful decorated hotel in an old original haveli with wonderful painted walls in the room. The erotic painting was amazing.
Bed comfortable, hot water ok
Food was very good, although it was quite cold in the dining area
The only but for me big issue was that there was no electric kettle for tea making although it was mentioned in the room description that there is one
I don't need Television or so but electric kettle is important for me and I always look for accommodation providing it.
So very annoying when it's in the description but actually not there

We spent a amazing time in Mandawa's Hotel Shekhawati. . We had the best room for a very very fair price...
The Hotel is an incredible authentic Haveli with so much wonderfully restored painting in the typical style of the traditional Mughal illustrations.

But what really made our stay memorable, was the feeling of being welcomed in a warm and lovely family that was caring so friendly about our welfare.

I recommand. Sincerely Shekhawati Hotel, and I really think this is truly an experience no one can mis visiting Mandawa,... 3 minits walking distance from all the major Havelis.

Thank you for the very Indian Spirit welcome which made our stay so lovely. And for the deep and sincere affection you generously provided us.

Last but not least, cooking was very nice and mild. Really delicious. .

We shall come again for sure.

Good for a short and unpretentious stay
Pros:

Well maintained typical building (haveli)
Friendly staff
Spacious room with typical decoration
Good food
Very simple but nice rooftop to enjoy the sunset

Cons:

Overall clean but with room for improvement, especially with bed linen
The bathroom: there was no trace of soap and we needed to ask for toilet paper (and we got an half used old roll); the only source of light was a pale green bulb, which was extremely annoying since you basically couldn’t see anything
No chance to pay with credit card
