Pros:

Der Aufenthalt war hervorragend. Da das Taxi vom Bahnhof nicht in die Altstadt von Chaozhou reinfahren konnte wurde ich von einem kleinen "Golfwagen" abgeholt. Vorher hat die Unterkunft Kontakt mit mir über WeChat aufgenommen um dies zu arrangieren. Die Unterkunft selbst ist zum Teil ein Altbau mit modernen Anbauten und schön gestaltetem Innenhof. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und es gab täglich frisches Obst und Abends noch warme süsse Milch mit typischen chinesische Süßigkeiten. Ebenfalls hatte das Zimmer eine moderne Einrichtung und ein sehr großes Badezimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und es wurden auch einige Sachen auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Die Lage war ebenfalls genial da nicht direkt an der Hauptfußgänger Zone aber alles wichtige war nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und über WeChat wurde ich auch gefragt ob ich noch Wünsche hätte. Das Taxi zum Bahnhof zurück wurde mir nach Anfrage auch organisiert. Kann das Hotel nur empfehlen auch wenn es etwas teurer war, dafür hat es aber auch einiges geboten.

I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
Pros:

The property is a tastefully designed heritage house with impeccable landscaping next to the residence of a renowned Chinese scholar. It’s a gem in Chaozhou. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent.

Pros:

Everything was perfect. The location. The old house and garden next door. The service and extra perks ( free mini bar / free bath bomb/ fruit / dessert) . I loved it all. Just note that the breakfast could be a bit more westerner friendly but that maybe the only improvement possible.

Very pleasant hotel combining old and new elements
Pros:

A tucked away gem in the old city.

Cons:

Cars cannot stop in front of property. Because the property is located on a small lane which only golf cart can access. Fortunately you can contact hotel to pick you and luggage from a convenient point.

I stayed at the hotel in January. I found the central heating is too warm. I have my window opened but the blanket is very thick. Would be ideal if the hotel can provide a thinner blanket.
