Casa famíliar agradável

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt hier, vor allem wegen der herzlichen Gastgeberin Eda! Sie war sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns die Gegend gezeigt und wir wurden sogar zum Grillen eingeladen. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber und gemütlich. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

How clean it was

The place is lovely and the community around it too; I felt safer walking around there than Copacabana or Ipanema during rush hour. The hostess was super nice to me and I felt like being welcomed home. The bed was very comfortable and the common areas/bathroom also very clean.

Well, it's a kind of Family stay and the Host welcomes you with a smile. It has all the facilities you need and a cheaper price for a stay in Rio even during Carnaval season. The owner can make you feel like you are a local guy. 😊. The house is in the mountain area and you have Uber Option from the city and return, there are plenty of bike services which give you a local feel.

This place definitely has good geographical location: it is located closely to the city center and the metro, but at the same time it felt like I had arrived at my parents’ country house again :) Many places of interest, museums and city beach can be reached on foot (and the “Maze”-museum which offers a wonderful view of the entire city is only a 5-minute walk). There are also small shops nearby the hotel and a large supermarket at the nearest metro station. The hotel owners are friendly and hospitable people. It was nice to have coffee with them every morning. Overall, this is a good option for budget travelers!
