Pros:

If you want to be on the Royal Mile, this is a perfect location. The breakfast (though not included), was a decent Europen selection. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There were some janky aspects. Our shower didn't function properly - couldn't adjust the temp, which was borderline scalding. While it has a self-serve laundry facility, the dryers are basically useless. The room could have been bigger/more accurate to the photos online.

Great accommodation in the heart of Old Town
Pros:

Location!! Walking distance to all major attractions but yet the building is in a quiet street. Friendly staff always on site to help out, tasty breakfast (even though continental only), lovely welcome personalized card

Hôtel avec parfaite situation géographique mais à faire sans le petit déjeuner

Le plus grand plus de cet Hôtel est son emplacement ! Situation géographique 10/10 en plein old town avec des monuments historiques! A 1 minute du Royal mile et du commerce tout en étant dans le calme !
La décoration est très sympa et la chambre très conformtable avec un espace nuit séparé. Très pratique. Salle de bain grande et pratique. Personnel de l'aceuil et réception très agréable ! Ils nous ont même aidé à trouver des activités que nous recherchions. Et nous proposé des snacks gratuits ! Merci au personnel de la réception ils sont tous sympa accueillant et souriant.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner était une vrai déception !
- le prix beaucoup trop élevé pour le choix et la qualité! Pas de petit déjeuner chaud ! Pas d'œuf brouillé pas de bacon pas de saucisse ni de beans .. en gros pas de english breakfast!
Il n'y avait que des vinoiseries, yaourt, quelques cocombre et tomates cerises et deux fromages! Le rapport qualité prix est extrêmement décevant!
- le personnels du petits déjeuner est très désagréable et pas du tout accueillant! Il suffit de te lever de la table pour te servir un autre café qu'ils ont déjà debarassé la table avec ton assiette encore remplie ! C'était énervant !
- hygiène 0/10 ! Le sol collant ! Les tables collantes avec les traces de café des personnes avant toi.. Les tasses de café pas bien lavés avec des traces de café dedans assez dégoûtante ! Tout le monde buvait son café dans les goblets en cartons faute de tasses propres ! Pas très écologique !
En gros l'hôtel est bien mais ne prenez pas le petit déjeuner à cet hôtel.. il y a beaucoup de café à côté où vous pouvez vous régaler pour pas cher et sans vous énerver avec le personnel ! Essayez plutôt Deacon house cafe a 3 minutes pour un petit déjeuner délicieux !

Perfekt für einen Edinburgh-Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wegen einer mehrstündigen Verspätung unseres Fluges kamen wir erst mitten in der Nacht an und wurden trotzdem sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer im 5. Stock hatte eine wundervolle Aussicht, das Bett war gross und bequem. Die Lage an der Royal Mile ist perfekt für das Erkunden der Altstadt. Alles ist fussläufig gut erreichbar (mit Gepäck allerdings etwas beschwerlich, weil es nicht weit, aber ziemlich steil vom Bahnhof hoch geht). Das Personal könnte nicht freundlicher sein, uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer war der Einstieg in die Badewanne (Dusche) sehr hoch. Für Personen, die in ihrer Mobilität eingeschränkt sind, könnte das ein Hindernis sein.
