Pros:

The room was exceptional, clean and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view from the window. There was also no noise from the outside which was a huge plus. The bathroom was very clean and staff was very kind. Overall very positive stay.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, um Edingburgh zu erkunden: direkt an der Royal Mile und trotzdem in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße

Dommage pour le défaut d'entretien de la chambre
Pros:

Emplacement parfait. Très bel hôtel.
Très bon petit-déjeuner (mais rien de local).
Depuis les chambres du 5è étage, merveilleuse vue sur la ville.

Cons:

Entretien de la chambre pas du tout à la hauteur du prix très excessif (plus de 500 euros/nuit) : meubles gondolés, placard en mauvais état, murs abimés voire cloqués par un dégât des eaux, poussière, douche peu simple d'utilisation, très peu de rangements.

Pros:

Really good hotel, very well located in Edinburgh.
The room is very cute and clean.
I only missed a small slipper kit, but this is a detail. The staff was nice.

Overall Great Stay
Pros:

The location was the best we could have hoped for. Spectacular views with fully livable space.
Full kitchen and tasty treats.

Cons:

I didn't like taking the separate stairs to the top floor with all of our luggage. We also found a small mouse. Lighting was a challenge for makeup and there is no outlet in the bathroom to do my hair.

Lovely stay, but would in hindsight request a different room
Pros:

The location was outstanding, centrally to all tourists sights, restaurants and bars. Train station a five minute walk.
Reception staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful

Cons:

The apartment was tired looking and a little dated. The bathroom was dated with some mold on the tiles and it could have been cleaned to a higher standard. The shower is extremely difficult to switch on.

Perfecte ligging en hele fijne kamers! Ons tweede verblijf hier was wederom top

Cons:

De kamer was een beetje warm omdat de airco niet kon koelen. Dit werd wel meteen opgelost door de receptie

Hotel idéal pour visiter au mieux la ville.
Pros:

Emplacement idéal ! Un vrai plus d'être aussi central, nous avons pu faire toutes nos visites à pied depuis l'hôtel. L'hôtel était pour autant très calme. Tout était très propre dans la chambre ainsi que dans la salle de bain.

Great overnight stay.
Pros:

Beautiful room, very comfy, great views over Edinburgh. Included buffet breakfast OK. Great check-in although ID was required even for UK citizens. Luckily, we were carrying it. Excellent location, a few metres from the Royal Mile.

Cons:

The shower is over the bath. It is a VERY large stride so my wife was unable to take a shower. Some form of step would be useful.
