The location could not have been better, the staff was very helpful.
Pros:

The room was fine; breakfast was not included, which it could have been for the price. We did not purchase it.

Cons:

Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but not terrible.

The place to be with family and dog in Edinburgh
Pros:

Perfectly located in the heart of old town! I was travelling with my dog and he’s been treated like a king with a dog blanket, two bowls and some treats waiting for him! Also very kind staff with kids and dogs

Cons:

Nothing

Fraser Suites is in a premo location and this fact outweighs the short-comings.
Pros:

When I checked in the male clerk took time to explain where Fraser Suites was on map of Edinburgh and how best to find places downtown.
Excited to see my room had a microwave and toaster oven (clerk had mistakenly called it a microwave.)
The way the front desk helped answer questions such as how far to Rosslyn Chapel. They called taxi for me. They printed an email I forwarded them with more detailed itinerary info from your guide.
The help received on annoying steps to my room.

Cons:

VERY heavy door to my room 207. Only one window and it was frosted white so I couldn’t see out.
The fact I had about 5 steps to get luggage down and up.
The way my room was serviced sooo late (2:30) by housekeeping. On second day I forgot to remind housekeeper I needed more toliet paper and when I ran out I used Kleenex. On both days housekeeper came they never used a broom or vacuum.

Wish there was a larger garbage can.

Great location and comfortable sleep, but overshadowed by cleanliness issues and noise.
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, situated very close to all the main attractions. The staff were friendly throughout my stay, and the room featured a remarkably comfortable bed with lovely, high-quality linens.

Cons:

I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom considering the price; the shower had visible mould and would benefit from a deep clean. There were also broken floor tiles, and the "city view" was misleading as it mainly overlooked the backs of old buildings. Additionally, there was significant noise from a nearby external ventilation unit, which was made worse by the poor quality of the windows that rattled and banged whenever the wind was strong.

Pros:

Lots to like about our room and location.

Cons:

Why are hotel rooms so dark in the UK? Too much mood lighting and you just can't see to read or organise.
