Excellent location just off the Royal Mile

Cons:

Check-in process. reception demanded we provide ID, lucky enough my wife had her driver license on her. if no ID we wasn't getting to check-in. Never had this experience with a British hotel ever. Receptionist wasn't very pleasant and very demanding

La posizione la pulizia l'accoglienza è stata magnifica, l'unico neo è stato il microonde che durante l'uso si è rotto, ma non è stato possibile ripararlo, per cui non abbiamo più potuto usarlo, pur avendo avvertito dell accaduto, però per il resto è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole.

Staff where lovely and location was great

Cons:

Location of our room was unfortunate. It was directly across from the public bathrooms and right next to the lifts so there was constant door slamming. Our room was very tight but apart from that there was a terrible draught coming in from the window. I initially thought a window was open when first entering the room and so had to keep the curtains closed the entire stay to help with it. £14 pound per person is abit crazy for a continental breakfast. Glad we didn’t include it at the time of booking but had gone down one morning to look at it’s an extremely poor and limited selection for the price. There’s a lovely cafe next door that has more or less the same selection
