Finca Sunset Monteverde

Best place ever to stay with a loved one. We had such a good time, the view is magical and the apparement is very well equipped! We even had a blast playing some jenga and other games. The hosts are lovely, the even helped us when we had a problem with our car late at night. Would recommend 10/10.

The name says it all: what an AMAZING view and sunsets...! This was one of our favourite stays in Costa Rica for many different reasons. The views and sunsets are truly unmatched. They also created a small lovely trail you can do on the property which was really nice. We saw plenty of birds, squirrels, agoutis, lizards, etc. The house itself was very big with all the commodities you might need: comfy big beds, a kitchen and relaxing showers. The host even provided orange juice, water, bread, banana bread, jam and eggs for us which was a very nice and tasty surprise. The veranda had a hot tub and seating area and outside there was a net you could lie on and a wonderful terrace with a breathtaking view on the valley. The location of the lodge is also perfect because it's close to most natural parks and activities in Monteverde. Communication with the host was flawless and we couldn't have wished for a better stay in Monte Verde. We will definitely come here again if we visit Monteverde!

Three words. BOOK THIS PLACE! Do it. It’s without a doubt worth the cost. I have never stayed in a more awesome/memorable place – ever - in my life. Your soul simply isn't ready for the views your human body will see. Best view – ever. Book it. The inside is immaculate. I don't even want to describe it because I don't want to spoil it for you. As for the outside, the place is completely private, with trees exploding with every type of fruit imaginable. You have your own walking trails, which was totally unexpected. One of our walks we were being watched by about a dozen Monkeys in trees, no more than 30 feet away. I remember thinking that this place was like $50 more than another place I was looking at but decided to take a chance and just booked it. I am so glad I went with my gut and didn't just go with a cheaper option because our stay here was truly incredible.

Très belle maison. Les chambres sont grandes. Les 2 salles de bain sont parfaites. Tout l’équipement est disponible dans la cuisine. Le balcon est super. Et que dire du sentier de 1 km en forêt. WoW!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Finca Sunset Monteverde! The property is beautiful, from the surrounding nature to the building design. Andrea was a generous host, leaving us some eggs, bread, and coffee for breakfast. The views from the balcony are incredible, especially on a clear day when you can see all the way to the ocean. The location was great; It felt secluded while only a 5-minute drive to Santa Elena. This was the perfect place to relax in between our Monteverde activities!

Amazing views

Alex was super helpful getting us checked in and giving us a quick run down on the property, including suggesting we view the sunset from the private trails (which had an INCREDIBLE view)! The property itself was beautiful, spacious, clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed. The bottle of wine and breakfast provided were a lovely unexpected treat. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked more time there as it was by far our favourite accommodations during our travels through Costa Rica. I can't recommend this place enough, it was truly wonderful!

The views from Finca Sunset Monteverde were spectacular. It helped that it was a gorgeous sunny day and not clouded in. The two-room accommodations were spectacular and met every need. Great hospitality by the owner, too. Highly recommend.
