Lovely house in great location

Cons:

Our bedroom on the top floor, the stairs were a challenge for me. If you have mobility issues you wouldn’t want a top floor bedroom

Lovely hotel with great service in a nice city.
Pros:

Well located, quiet street but not far from the city center. Lovely hotel with very friendly owners. Great service.

Pros:

We found The Broughton Townhouse to be in a great location with an easy walk into Edinburgh. It was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

It would have been ideal if there had been more room. It clearly states the rooms size dimensions and shows images but on arrival it was immediately clear that we had made the wrong decision and picked a poor choice for a six-night stay during the Edinburgh Fringe. I do think using the word deluxe within the description title is fair, but the images are misleading as it felt claustrophobic and we spent as little time as possible in the room just because it wasn’t practical to stay in once out of bed. I loved the period style window bay and slanting ceiling, but we spent most of the time trying not to bump our heads.

HOT WEEKEND LOTS OF PEOPLE AS TRAMS WERENT RUNNING..BOOK CASTLE VISIT BEFORE YOU GO NO SPACES LEFT

WE STRUGGLED FINDING THE HOUSE AS CALLED SOMETHING ELSE ON THE DOORWAY.
BUT ONCE INSIDE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND THE ROOM WAS FINE.
WE THOUGHT IT WAS COMFORTABLE AND EVERYTHING WE NEEDED WAS THERE.

Cons:

UNFORTUNATELY WERE WOKEN AT 6AM ON OUR FIRST MORNING AS ROOFERS WERE RIGHT BY US ON ANOTHER ROOF WITH LORRY NOISE AND PEOPLE.
SO THIS WAS NOT SOMETHING YOU COULD CONTROL BUT WE WERE SO VERY TIRED FROM OUR LONG DAY TRAVELLING AND LOOKING FORWARD TO A LIE IN
THERE WASNT A BREKFAST OPPORTUNITY WHICH IS A BIG SHAME AS WE WOULD HAVE WELCOMED IT .ITS A LOVELY OLD PLACE BUT FEELS CLOSED .

A comfy corner in a charming city.
