For an5 star hotel, I expected a little more on customer relation and in a crisis there was little care.
Pros:

I liked the property location, the design and it was close to some nice amenities. I also liked the Holi event they put on.

Cons:

I didn’t like the inconsistent service from staff. I realise that being in a different country service levels differ. The breakfast staff in blue suits, the chef and a handful of the waiting staff were excellent, attentive, didn’t have to say something twice. However, ordering food in the middle of the day, staff were a bit clueless, told us we would have to wait for the buffet at 7pm (which we weren’t interested in). We were stranded due to Iran conflicts and received no sympathy on being stranded during checkout, and I had to rebooked via booking.com as they couldn’t provide same deal even though I had literally checked out and paid a half day stay til 6pm, I was then charged another full night on rechecking in. After a desperate plea (being a single parent (female) with my 2 children alone, and panicked) I was treated more as a nuisance nevermind the hotel prices I had paid. I remained from 26th-6th March and it made it easier for the children to be stranded somewhere nice but it stacks up and in the end I returned to the outskirts whilst I awaited my rescheduling. A little help, empathy, better dealing ina crisis and offering some alternatives or some extras would have made this experience that much more customer based.

Lovely Elegant Hotel

Particular thanks to Monica on room service and Tosee in the restaurant. Both staff members were so welcoming and attentive. The hotel is beautiful.

Oasis in the heart of Ahmedabad
Pros:

The staff provided excellent service. Room was clean and well appointed. The delicious breakfast was a highlight. Hot jalebi's for breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We will definetly stay here again.

Pleasant stay.
Pros:

All the bells and whistles u can expect in a 5 star hotel.
Breakfast was great....and so was the service..
Concierge was excellent.

Cons:

Service was slow and not up to standard for my after lunch snack request..
Expect to pay 5 star prices for anything on the menu.
You have to take a ride out to visit places of interest.
