Pros:

Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns in dem kleinen und sehr liebevoll und sauber gestalteten Resort sehr wohl. Wir wurden von Max herzlich willkommen geheissen und diese Herzlichkeit genossen wir während der ganzen Woche unseres Aufenthalts von allen Mitarbeitenden. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt, Ausflüge mit Tuctucs oder Taxi organisiert, das Essen immer frisch zubereitet und auch Spezialwünsche, die nicht auf der Karte standen, wurden möglich gemacht (seafood). Unser Bungalow war grosszügig, mit guter Klimaanlage und umgeben mit tropischen Pflanzen. Und immer stand ein frisches Blumensträusschen auf der Terrasse!
Der Abschied war sehr rührend, mit allen Mitarbeitenden und vielen Umarmungen und sogar einem sehr persönlichen Geschenk. Ich denke noch immer jeden Tag daran zurück!

Relaxing beach front break for couples
Pros:

Top class facilities, rooms where to a very high standard, staff could not do enough for you. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Nice pool and beach was very clean and isolated.

Cons:

Only down side is there is not much local to do out side the hotel.

Perfect !
Pros:

We arrived earlier than planned and were greeted so warmly and give a welcome drink until our accommodation was ready . The location is idyllic , direct access on to an almost exclusive beach ! Accommodation was great and surrounded by by beautifully landscaped gardens with a swimming pool to cool off in .
Max the owner and his staff have a little oasis here and go above and beyond to ensure guests are happy . We didn’t meet the chef but the meals we had were absolutely delicious.
Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Beautiful tranquil resort with a very personal service , thank you
Pros:

Fabulous boutique hotel in beautiful gardens with a very personal service, a special mention for Max and Nidhin who looked after us so well . Fabulous top room for watching sunset and relaxing in the shade

Cons:

Beach area was restricted by concrete groins and was quite a walk up to the main marari beach … but this also meant that it was quieter … so pros and cons !

Peaceful conclusion to a hectic month travelling in lovey surrounds.
Pros:

Gorgeous, immaculately laid out gardens worth 10+! Appropriate number of cabins arranged well. Staff should be proud. Very peaceful, somewhat isolated location with a clean private beach. Just what we wanted, restful after touring India. Staff were all lovely and friendly also deserving of 10+!

Cons:

Other half liked everything - I thought seating generally was not comfortable. Ordering food via WhatsApp and being pushed for it was a flaff but the food was nice and fresh and just the way the home stay was organised

Pros:

Incredible resort with super friendly staff who handle everything effortlessly. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and stylish. Beautiful, well kept grounds just steps from the beach. Highly recommend!

Pros:

Das kleine Resort ist außergewöhnlich ruhig, paradiesisch gelegen und top gepflegt. Die,Zimmer sind wunderschön mit tollen Bädern und blitzsauber. Der private Strand ist direkt vor der Haustür, einen tollen Pool gibt es ebenfalls. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Max und sein Team haben uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt beschert und alle Wünsche erfüllt. Wir können das Resort absolut empfehlen!

Quiet and low key location - ideal after a hectic journey
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. The garden is really well kept and the beach section in front of the hotel is spotless too (not quite true for the rest of the beach). Breakfast a bit on the average side but evening meals were good and cooked on site. Property is in good nick overall.

Cons:

Aircon's position in the room is not great as it blows straight on your head all night, which I don't enjoy. I am not a fan of "filtered" water but there is a shop about 5 mins away to top up on bottled water.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderschöne Gestaltung der Außensnlagen, zudem sehr gepflegt.

Cons:

Es ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, sein Essen schon am Nachmittag für das Dinner zu bestellen, zudem per WA.
Die Küche ist gut, hat aber noch Potential… Das Service- Personal ist bemüht, muss aber noch lernen.
Das Getränke- Angebot ist eingeschränkt.

Perfect chill out beach stay
Pros:

Kerala doesn't really do beach resorts. There are no rows of sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. An occasional chair and brolly, but that's about it. Form me, that's a positive. This place is right on the beach. A very quiet beach used by the very small number of hotel residents (I think there are only about 7 cabins) and the occasional local. The beach is clean and the water is very warm (a must for me). The sea is quite rough so you do have to be a bit careful, but amazing fun.

The hotel has a great rooftop terrace to chill out on overlooking the beach. Great place to watch the sunset.

The pool and pool area is very nice as are the gardens.

Our room (suite with garden bath tub) was excellent. Very comfortable and very well equipped (save for too few hangers).

I would very highly recommend this hotel too anyone looking for a chilled beach holiday.

Breakfast was good and they will cook you omelettes etc if you ask.

Cons:

We ordered from the lunch menu on our first day, it took over an hour to arrive and when it did it was very disappointing. Evening meals were okay, but just okay. The only alcohol on site is cans of beer (Fosters!). However, don't let this put you off. Here are a few tips: (1) try the lunch to see if it has improved and, if not, just take a tuk tuk to one of the local bakeries and buy samosas and baked goodds or take the tuk tuk to Marari Beach and eat at one of the very good restaurants there. (2) Try the dinner and, if not up to the grade, tuk tuk too Marari Beach. (3) As for alcohol (you guessed it) take a tuk tuk to the State Alcohol shop and buy your own. Good choice of local beers and some ok wines. The Fratelli rose is not bad and there are a couple of sparklers that are half decent. Didn't find any good reds, but we heard good things about Sula though none in the state shop.

Marari beach restaurants: (1) Sea Lap very good and good value. Don't order the sea food platter, it is not worth the price. (2) Catch and Quench - also very good and very good value.

A peaceful beachfront oasis.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds, comfortable suite, waterfront location, helpful and attentive staff.

Cons:

It being India, many of the nearby properties are kind of grubby. Regrettable amount of trash on the beach- though the team does a good job keeping the beach at the property tidy and clean.

Comfortable, very quiet/empty, surrounded by nature and attentive staff.
Pros:

Beachfront location, comfortable rooms and a nice small swimming pool. Gardens were also immaculate and the food was very nice.

Cons:

All food had to be ordered by text a few hours before, which the manager explained why. The fruit juice also has added syrup which for the price we paid should be standard.
