Pros:

Good location. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Good buffet breakfast.

Cons:

Windows cannot be opened in some rooms which is a shame as the sound of the sea is lost.

Got Charged $60 for breakfast that I cancelled… it was a smorgasbord so there was no cost to the kitchen… very angry
And the room had a musty smell like wet carpet

Gorgeous older style building in the best location. Everything at your doorstep. Stunning views from our room.

It was good just the tiles need updating looked like my yiayias tiles in her bathroom and also the shower head ? Timer thing to turn the hot and cold water on never seen that before and if you had pools open longer to 24/7 just abit of an upgrade it needs bit pricey for a Thursday night to Fri to for one bedroom in Adelaide

Too run down
Pros:

We paid for an upgrade to a room with an ocean view, and asked for a high floor. The view was great. The room was big.

Cons:

The windows were so dirty that it was hard to see anything outside. There is only free TV in the room, no Netflix/stan etc, which in 2026 seems surreal, even motels have Netflix. The sauna was completely flooded with stagnated rain water, quite gross and dirty, and the heating system wasn’t working properly so it was barely warm. The access to the spa/pool is so run down and ugly, it looks like the entrance to some sort of old hospital basement. Not what you would expect from a high-end hotel. Parking is another $30 per night.
