The property was great! Amazing location and beds were so comfortable
I thought the property could be updated a little. Would be great to have hand wash and body lotion in the bathroom instead of a tiny round soap. Also would be good to have a larger milk in the fridge instead of those tiny little tubs
Unfortunately didn't have time to stop for brekky, but the complimentary bottle of wine and the 2x free drinks at the bar were a lovely touch. The fact the "house beer" was basically any beer on tap was a really nice benefit.
Really enjoyed the bed and the spa tub, although two tubes of the bubble bath would have been nice, the bubbles dissipated rather quickly.
Really appreciated having a TV in both the bedroom and the living area, was a nice touch. Really awesome having someone take our bags to the room, was very unexpected but very grateful.
Staff from reception to the concierge were all very polite and helpful, incredibly kind human beings.
Pool was beautiful, gym was suitable for a short stay. Greatly appreciated the layout of the main lobby. Views from the room were absolutely stunning.
Lovely and spacious rooms (we stayed a different night in the twin double room) and both were surprisingly spacious and had breathtaking views.
A second tube of bubble bath bubbles would have been lovely :)
Off-street parking, while easy to access, has lots of tight corners even in a mid-size SUV. Would have preferred more signage to where the elevators are located.
In the twin double room, the extra towels are folded and placed on a rack that sits in the shower. This felt a little odd, if not counter-intuitive.
Location right near the water. Glenelg is great for off site food locations. Highly recommended is Mamma Carmela which is located on the corner.
The food in the hotel bar was terrible. They also have pigeons wandering and flying around while you’re trying to eat. Seems dirty.
Beautiful room with fabulous views onto the pier. The location was fabulous and the staff very friendly. Parking was easy.
Room service menu was limited and the restaurant very Asian cuisine orientated. The comfort rating I gave was only due to the pillows which were as hard as rocks, so much so that I had to sleep without a pillow. I couldn’t find any information if they had a pillow library so that could be my fault for not ringing reception.
Love looking out over the water.
Its pretty pricey!
We had a minor issue with the room but the staff rectified this cheerfully and efficiently. The view of course is the main drawcard. We liked it so much that we are returning this weekend (just one week later).
The seats used to admire the view were very worn and need replacing.
Location
Rooms very average
The staff, two in particular, Giovanni, Portugese man and Veve, both made our stay very relaxed and comfortable, thankyou
The room we had did not have a balcony and the air-conditioning set up outside was our main view, our sea views were interrupted
My room over looked a back alley, so not romantic I was there for work so didn't mind.
I like it when toothpaste is supplied. I had three beers of my own in the fridge that went missing. Nothing too bad, but slightly annoying.
Location superb being near the sea, promenade, jetty road etc. Very good buffet breakfast although coffee not so good, via machine (Barista coffee charged extra) Great sized room, ours was overlooking the sea. Bar at street level somewhat basic, more a sports bar really, but cocktail lounge good.
The hotel does need an upgrade, felt tired and lacked furniture and pictures in the room, chairs past their best. Enjoyed the traditional feel of the hotel though, some old style woodwork throughout and a great grand staircase from the lobby.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would stay again.
Fabulous location.
Property is becoming dated and needs an upgrade.
