Pros:

Beautiful old place, lots of history. Very clean. Shared bathroom but it is lovely.

Cosy, clean & value for money

Friendly owner, food was good, accommodation was very clean and certainly value for money

Cons:

1. The hotel should explain that there is no FRONT access to the hotel, when the hotel pub is closed and that you have to walk round the back of the block.
2. On my arrival the pub was closed and no one was there to explain how I access to the key-lock to get my key and which # room I was in. Luckily someone answered promptly on the number provided by booking.com, but my suggestion is that maybe the hotel could just provide the instructions when the booking confirmation is emailed to the customer.
3. No food for residents when their restaurant/pub is closed! I was expecting to have a dinner on the Sunday night, but didn't realise that there was no exception for residents. Luckily, I found a pizza place open very nearby (and on a public holiday weekend)! phew!

Great stay and great hosts.
Pros:

Everything was good. No surprises, nothing fancy just good, clean country pub accommodation. Shared facilities were clean and shower was hot.
Friendly locals at the bar.

Cons:

The bed wasn't as comfy as home but good for the price.

Pros:

Location was great and close to shops cafes etc.
I was only there for a night and very happy with the accommodation and it catered for what I needed.

The very squeeky hinges on the toilet door need oiling. The loud noise announced to the other clients when ever someone went to the common toilet.

Awesome
Pros:

Great feel to the property, great bar and accomodation was very clean and pleasant. The staff were awesome and food was bloody brilliant. Highly recommend. Better than staying in Daylesford.

Couldn't be happier.
Pros:

It's the second time we've stayed here. It's so comfortable and relaxing. The beds are awesome.

Cons:

wifi wasn't working at all. That's was the ONLY thing wrong.
