I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but Ryan Huang, the manager who assisted me at check-in, is honestly one of the best hotel professionals I’ve ever met. His kindness alone was outstanding, but what impressed me even more was how attentive he was to every little detail.
The level of service and genuine hospitality I received at Pullman Shanghai Jing An was even better than what I’ve experienced at much more expensive five-star hotels near the Bund. Every interaction felt sincere rather than scripted, and that made all the difference. Without a doubt, this was some of the best hotel service I’ve ever experienced.
This was a girls’ trip to celebrate my friend’s birthday, so we had quite many requests throughout our stay. Even so, Ryan took care of everything from A to Z with genuine patience and professionalism. Thanks to him, we have such wonderful memories of both the hotel and our time in Shanghai.
I’d also like to thank Nicholas, Allan, and the rest of the hotel staff. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Their excellent hospitality is one of the main reasons I’ll definitely choose Pullman Shanghai Jing An again on my next visit to Shanghai.
Room:
We originally booked an Executive Suite, but after mentioning that we were celebrating a birthday, we were kindly upgraded to the CEO Suite. It was quiet, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that it was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city.
What could be improved? Literally nothing. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience. Thank you to everyone at Pullman Shanghai Jing An for making our trip so memorable. I can’t wait to come back.

This was my second stay at this hotel this year. The hotel, its location, and the staff were excellent, as always. This time, flights were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and a typhoon. Even in this situation, the staff were very helpful in every way. I especially want to thank Ms. Beverly at the reception. She deserves the highest praise for her support and guidance during this process. Thank you for everything.

The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Shanghai Railway metro station and Exit 5.

We came very early and still got a room. It had a fresh ac all around the hotel. The breakfast was very good (European and Asian kitchen). Beverly welcomed us, explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and was very friendly.
