Pros:

Pullmann welches nicht überzeugt

Die Lage, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn

Cons:

Der Check-in und Check-out verliefen sehr unfreundlich. Man hat hier nicht das Gefühl, als Gast willkommen zu sein, sondern eher wie eine weitere Nummer abgefertigt zu werden. Selten habe ich eine so unfreundliche Rezeption erlebt.
Das Zimmer war sehr warm und ließ sich über die Klimaanlage nicht herunterkühlen.
Die Beleuchtung im Zimmer ist überwiegend indirekt und eher dunkel gehalten. Grundsätzlich kann das eine angenehme Atmosphäre schaffen, im Badezimmer ist es jedoch sehr unpraktisch - man kann kaum erkennen, was man sich beispielsweise ins Gesicht aufträgt, weil es so dunkel ist.
Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen ausgelegt, bietet jedoch kaum Privatsphäre. Die Tür, die den Toilettenbereich vom restlichen Zimmer trennt, ist eher eine einfache Abtrennung als eine Tür.
Das Bett ist unbequem, da die Matratze sehr fest ist.
Auch der Frühstücksraum konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Er wirkte ungemütlich und erinnert eher an eine große Halle, als an einen einladen Frühstücksraum, in welchem die Mitarbeiter mit Lustlosigkeit glänzten.
Insgesamt haben wir uns hier nicht wohlgefühlt und würden dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Expected more but a nice, good value hotel.
Pros:

Good quality overall.

Cons:

The pre authorisation credit taken is from Shanghai Zhongya Restaurant which i didnt realise was the hotels company name so blocked it as thought they were stealing money. They didnt explain this when emailed and took a while at reception to understand this.

Also cold restaurant in winter as opposite doors, and no food at all after 10.30. Difficult for travellers arriving after thus time on flights. Expect room service in a 5* but appreciate culturally might be different.

Amazing value overall. Comfortable, great amenities, breakfast was excellent and location very convenient.

Fantastic breakfast buffet. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great amenities, especially the gym. Very convenient location right next to Shanghai station and a few meters from a metro.

Cons:

No connected rooms for our party, but not a big deal
