Bad Deutsch Altenburg has a very large park by the Danube river. We loved to stroll in the park.
Pros:

The breakfast was satisfactory.

Aufenthalt ist absolut gelungen, danke
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war zentral und nahe an Anlass, Zimmer zweckmässig und sauber.

Cons:

Es war alles ok, ausser das Frühstück hätte ein wenig vielfältiger sein können.

Pros:

This is a great stop-off for cyclists riding aling the Euro velo 6 beside the Danube, and the hosts offer safe bike parking as well as e-bike recharging facilities. The room was comfy and spacious, there is a pool (we didn't use it) and a good breakfast. Hosts also very helpful with English speakers with minimal German!

Cons:

The curtains are more for aesthetics than practicality, and it was hard to cut out the overnight lights from the guests courtyard.
