Pros:

As a westerner, they did everything that you want, how you want it.
Pros:

Wonderful entrance, very grand - you feel like a million dollars ☺️
The hotel was bright and clean and very stylish. There’s 3 restaurants, a late evening one. Any type of food is available. 24/7 restaurant room service which was great for jet lag. Front desk helped me with my Indian shawl and showed me how to put it on., gave me pins so I would look smart.
And they also gave me a great packed breakfast to have when I had an early morning departure for my return flight. Nothing was too much trouble
Managed to get a bit of a tan by the pool, but pool was a little cold, so didn’t go in. Gym was limited… got a few arm exercises in, tried the leg machine but they weren’t quite the movement I needed.

Cons:

Bit of a long way to the town centre, gym machines required to be able to do more of a strengthening work out, don’t really need loads of treadmills nowadays.

Very enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing stay in central Chennai
Pros:

The room was spacious, clean and modern. The bed was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. It had a safe, hairdryer, bathrobes and a small fridge - everything that was mentioned on booking.com. Food was excellent, the buffet had lots of choices.

Cons:

There were some guests who were in the restaurant chatting loudly and eating food straight from the pots with their fingers. I thought this was very disrespectful to other guests and very unhygienic so I complained to the staff who I think should have intervened straight away without being asked.
