Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!

We had an amazing experience at this accommodation. The place was super clean, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping everything in perfect shape.

The staff were outstanding – very efficient, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. We ran into a few issues when we needed to extend our stay, and they handled everything so smoothly. A special thank you to Ros and the team for doing their absolute best to make sure our group had somewhere to stay, even during the busiest time of the year. Their support made a huge difference and truly reflects the high standard of service here.

The place was absolutely disgusting, stank of cigarettes and body odour. Proprietor laughed when we called to complain and said the property gets cleaned once a month which was way too often.

I feel reburn and rested after 5 days we spent there with my son
Pros:

Location is very good, comfortable when you don't have a car,as you can walk everywhere. Lidl - big supermarket is near, coast is near. to travel around you can take a train or a bus, ut's very good with commute there. Absolutely in love with a Shanklin and area and Isle of Wight will be in my heart now

Pros:

Incredibly kind and helpful staff: Rosamund and Roger were above and beyond in their level of care and communication with us during the stay. Bedroom was clean, had a lovely view, a good sized comfy bed and a strong hot shower! Location was top tier.

Cons:

Some aspects of the room were difficult for a couple - space/facilities for drying clothes from the beach, and the room size/space & amenities felt a bit more suited to a solo occupant than a couple. This didn't impact our enjoyment of the Isle of wight however, just a few honest thoughts.

Perfect family trip
Pros:

Fantastic location. Ideal for our family. We had x2 apartments as we are a family of five and it worked out perfectly giving everyone the space they needed at the end of the day. Parking really easy, walking distance to beach. The island is lovely and if you drive everything is on your doorstep.

A little disappointed in the accommodation
Pros:

The welcome pack of coffee and eggs was excellent.
The soft furnishings in the bedroom we beautiful and looked expensive.
The patio was comfortably furnished, so we enjoyed sitting out there.
The location was excellent for access to the coastal path and Shanklin.

Cons:

The entry path was shabby in need of resurfacing.
The bathroom needs some hooks and the heated towel rail has been disconnected. The tap was dirty and woodwork needs repainting.
There was only one saucepans and no frying pan.
There were no toiletries which had been advertised as part of the welcome pack.

When we return we'll stay at this place again.
Pros:

Fantastic location. Walking distance to many great places to eat, the beach, stores, and attractions. Comfortable room has what you need for a pleasant stay.

Cons:

Motion sensor light was a problem not a help. I'd prefer a light weight alternative to the heavy bed cover.

Lovely Holiday Let
Pros:

Lovely holiday let, perfect for our needs. We particularly enjoyed the use of the garden. Location was good. Although we had to park on the road, there was always a space even though we visited in peak holiday season (August). Would definitely return. Very good value for money. Thank you to Rosamund and Roger for their lovely welcome and thoughtfulness throughout our stay.

A lovely apartment in a good location.
Pros:

Clean & well-prepared apartment ; good location ; quiet & peaceful feel to the accommodation ; cosy ; host supportive, flexible, friendly ; very good base for a good stay on IoW

Cons:

A kettle would have been handy, though boiling water on stove was ok ; one or two kitchen utensils needed fixing ; no washing machine, having understood from pre-stay info that there would be one

Pros:

A very warm and friendly welcome, lovely clean room. Unfortunately I wasnt able to spend as much time in it due to work but I'm booking again for next year if thats sufficient reccomendation :) .

Cons:

Parking can be a bit hit and miss - but thats to be expected and I was always able to find a spot fairly close by.
