Pros:

Place had a bad musty smell. The staff provided a dehumidifier and fan which helped, but not enough. Mold from high humidity is prevalent in Costa Rica, but this hotel had the most mustiness of the places I have stayed there.

Perfect spot!
Pros:

We could not have asked for a better experience in Monteverde! This place exceeded our expectations in comfort and beauty. Our casa has everything we needed for our stay. Clean and well stocked plus centrally located and easy to get to anyplace in MV! The hosts were easy going and very responsive to any questions we had. Quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

Would be good place, but checkin was a nightmare. No staff on site, needed email day before with access instructions. Whatsapp on the arrival day is no use if you dont have phone signal & roaming. We were just left standing outside not knowing what to do. Not even a written message on office door telling us how to contact host, with wifi code so guest can get online.
Lodge is deep in woods, so cool & secluded but no view.

Beautiful property! Staff were absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful and supportive! Would definitely recommend this place!!

Pros:

The property consists of 3 modern cabins. They are on a hills side (everything in Monteverde area is on a hillside) so be prepared to hike up and down everywhere. No uber, lift or public trans, but there are taxis. Accommodations were spacious, comfortable and reasonably priced for the area.
Full kitchen was nice. We couldn't figure out how to operate the stove, but we used the microwave. About a 10 minute walk into center of Santa Elena.

Pros:

Very nice studio room, compfortable bed new furniture, coffee maker, microwave and nice shower. Nice sitting area outside. Close to everything.
