When we arrived, the room wasn’t ready, despite check-in being advertised as from 2pm. There were quite a few people waiting in the reception area, which is very small and quickly became crowded.
Once we were assigned our room, there was no lift available, which made getting to the room inconvenient. The room itself was extremely disappointing. Although it was advertised as a large double room, it was actually very small. The layout was poor, and the bed could only be accessed from one side, meaning you had to climb over it to get in. The bed was positioned right next to the window, so traffic noise was very noticeable. I was woken at 5am by a loud motorbike horn, which was not the kind of wake-up call anyone wants.
The room also lacked basic comforts. There was only one mirror in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. It would have been a nice touch to have some complimentary water provided, especially given the size and price of the room. A better layout, a larger bed, and more thoughtful use of the space would have made a big difference.
Noise was another issue. The doors do not seem to be well soundproofed, and we could clearly hear doors slamming in the corridor and noise from neighbouring rooms. Early in the morning, there was also a lot of noise outside the room, possibly from housekeeping or other guests, which disturbed the stay.
One of the biggest disappointments was the price increase due to an event day at Hyde Park. It was frustrating to see that staying the following day, when there was no event, would have been over £100 cheaper. While I understand that prices can change, it is disappointing when hotels significantly increase rates during events. With the cost of living being what it is, it would be refreshing to see more hotels consider affordability and the experience of their guests.
Small touches and fair pricing go a long way. A hotel that genuinely considers its guests would earn much more respect and loyalty.

My daughter struggled to sleep in one of the beds as it was too hard. we swapped and she was ok. Would have liked a bath mat but was given an extra small towel to use instead.

one pillow which was too thin. burning hot water in shower with broken temperature control. no clear instruction for wifi.

Room a bit dirty, asked for a double got a twin

・フリーWiFiが使い物にならない。パスワード付きのWiFiは、パスワードの案内が無く使えなかった
・コンセントはベッドの足側の壁にあるので、ケーブルが短いと物を床に直置きする事になる
・クーラーを切っていても、とても乾燥する。寝起きの喉が酷い事に

エレベーターが無い。前は朝食付きだったけどなくなってしまった。

Oda küçüktü, hareket alanı yoktu. Çok eşyanız yoksa ve sadece uyumak için kullanılacaksa sıkıntı olacağını düşünmüyorum. Bina eski, cam yalıtımı güçlü değil. Yan binadaki otelin balkonunda içilen sigaranın kokusu direkt odama giriyordu. Benim için en büyük sıkıntı odada usb şarj girişinin olmamasıydı

I would like to have more drinks available in the rooms. EG: more tea bags. Coffee milk etc.

The Wi-Fi here is terrible the worst I’ve experienced. I raised this with the receptionist, who provided another network, but that’s just as bad.
Luckily, I wasn’t in the room much during the day, but this is definitely something hotel needs to address. The connection keeps dropping, is extremely slow, and is completely unreliable.
