Personal muy amable
The ambiance
Communication was a challenge between on different roles, no coordination
Staff though not trained properly did their best
No hot water. Shower flooded. Poor WiFi. Waited 100 minutes for the food!!! It was then poor quality. Second night waited 35 minutes for toasted sandwiches. Extensive menu but much not available. No socket except over spa bath.
Very expensive for Kenya, would rate it 1 star. Poor value €63 per night, would not stay again.
Everything
Nothing
The food was good as well as the service and the beds. The rooms and hallways were clean and cleaned as well as the table in the restaurant. Extremely friendly personnel.
The shower positioned in front of the toilets and poor draining that kept the bathroom flooded for a long time. No shower caps and/or slippers. The rooms had poor mosquito nets and a lot of misquitos in the night that kept us all awake and bitten.
Location and staff. It’s for a comfortable stop-over and they are perfect as just that.
We were looking for a bed with a/c, a shower and breakfast, and that’s what we got.
We had a hard time finding it, but they sent somebody out to meet us.
Next time will be easier, and there will be a next time👍
The space is nice, and staff were very kind and friendly.
Breakfast could be improved. Not many options, and didn't look very fresh. Room was quite small for what we paid for it.
Eggs, watermelon was good.
Restaurant took over an hour to cook our food.
Rooster woke us up at 5:00am.
The shower and toilet next to each other was odd.
Staff helpful.
Hotel error in location pin made initial access difficult. Room lighting limited.
Location is great, right in the middle of Makindu. The compound is very safe and there is an on-site restaurant. Breakfast was nice, for a vegetarian there were a few different options. The rooms are large and have good beds with mosquito nets and clean towels. The wifi is decent and they had multiple routers across the hotel so you could stay connected. Appreciated the bottled water in the room.
The hot water only worked on one of the evenings - the rest of the time the showers were cold. There is no safe in the room, would suggest that these are installed. The AC turned on but seemed stuck at 24 degrees.
