Hands down the best stay we’ve ever had! (and we really travel alot) The hotel feels very new. The room was incredibly stylish and spacious. Everything was well-maintained, and that lagoon view? Simply breathtaking.

Vue magnifique depuis l’hôtel. Très belle et grande chambre.
Accès direct sur le lagon et kayak à disposition.
Les plats du restaurant sont très bons.
Wifi qui fonctionne très mal
Le personnel ne parle pas vraiment anglais
- Steg zum Liegen direkt am Wasser mit Kayak und Stand ups
- Innenausstattung sehr schön, inklusive Sicht auf die Lagune
- Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto, da es 20 Minuten zum Centro sind. Es gibt auch nicht wirklich viel in der Umgebung. Alternativ muss man immer ein Taxi buchen: Kosten 5€ für eine Strecke, das klappt aber auch problemfrei
- Autobahn leider im Außenbereich inkl. Balkon zu hören, nicht komplett 100% Stille, wie es vielleicht auf den Bildern aussieht
- Serviceteam muss noch weiter geschult werden, teilweise überfordert, auch mit dem Frühstück
- War nicht wirklich ein 5 Sterne Hotel, Preis etwas zu teuer
A beautiful new boutique hotel right on the edge of the lagoon . All of the fittings were of high quality and our room was large and comfortable with a wonderful view over the lagoon . Great to watch the sunrise every morning. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and there were also SUPs available for guest use .
The hotel is very near to Cenote Azul which was beautiful for swimming . We also enjoyed visiting Los Rapidos and exploring the centre of Bacalar .
A little distance from the centre of town so dining opportunities in the evening were limited unless you could drive or get a taxi into Bacalar.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very spacious with a magnificent view of the lagoon. The beds very comfortable, towels wonderful, shower strong flow of water. The breakfast was very good, yogourt and fruit as well as the eggs were prepared as requested. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The dock with the lawn chairs wonderful.
It would have been nice to have regular coffee mugs along with glasses to drink from.

Beautiful hotel at the water.
For such a high-end hotel the Wifi was not great.

We loved the room, the shower (maybe the best I’ve ever used), the dock area on the lagoon, and the fact that there were paddle boards and kayaks to use for free. Great that it included breakfast, and the dinner was pretty good too. Street parking available right out front.
Breakfast quality was inconsistent and the staff didn’t always come down to the pool/dock to refill drinks. Music didn’t match the ambience.
The place is thoughtfully and tastefully designed, and feels new and solid. Our room was very spacious - even luxurious - with a great balcony offering an excellent view of the lagoon. The bathroom was also beautiful and functional. The outdoor facilities, including the swimming pool and the deck by the lake, were superb. We also had the pleasure of sharing a lovely dinner with the managers, who were exceptionally friendly and wonderful company.
The internet connection in the room was a bit weak on our iPhones, though it worked very well in the restaurant, so this was only a minor detail.
The manager was super nice, all team. The room and view was A MA ZING. Shower super good. Food of restaurant also very good. All perfect.
Swimming pool was cold
Hotel novo, confortável, muito bem localizado. Quarto espaçoso com uma vista espetacular da lagoa (quarto andar). A ducha de água quente foi maravilhosa. Café da manhã muito bom, servido com prontidão. De um modo geral, os funcionários foram bastante amáveis. O acesso privativo à lagoa nos permitiu um banho delicioso. Voltaríamos a nos hospedar lá com certeza!
Vers nice location, modern stylish building, polite staff but:some gaps to be 5 star hotel, very nice view from the 5 th floor
Unprofessional managed, no 5 star hotel, inconsistent service quality, reception does not speak English and say the manager is on holiday
Very loud from the highway and noise from the utilities in the 5 floor
Sometimes you wait up to 60 minutes for an Americano coffee for breakfast
