Great rooms, well equipped. Staff cleaned the room when ever we asked. The pool was disappointing.
We had high expectations given the exceptional rating. However facilities were not in a very good condition and needs some renovations/maintenance. We tried to give feedback but the management did not seem to be interested in receiving the feedback or take action on it. The visit was quite far below our expectations.
Facilities, cleanliness, staff, next to the beach
We stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend it! It's a little oasis of calm, and the staff are so wonderful. The pool is beautiful and so nice to swim in (essential when its so hot!), the room was large and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. A really good price for what you get :)

Property itself was amazing, had a really nice community feel about it. The pool was great for the kids as it had a shallow area too, and the staff were so kind and friendly. We were a family of 4 and would fully recommend. It even had a small gym with basic weights and pull up bar etc which was a nice touch. The location was close to a nice family restaurant which you could get a good cheap meal from, and close to a couple of beaches. The main beach was a small Tuk Tuk ride away or about 20 mins walk which we did multiple times. The staff Mitosis, asela and oshi were particularly great.
Outstanding under every aspect! We initially booked one night, but decided to extend for 4 because it’s just exceptional. Staff super nice and helpful, amazing location, villa super clean and modern. We stayed in many different places in Srilanka and this was the best one by far!

Power cuts in the area every now and then, but not a big deal
It is beautifull area - in very good condition. There are only 8 big appartments, so there is enought privacy. If we need something Yamuna Help us or give is advice where we can find what we need. Resort is in quite location. To Jungle Beach you can go by foot 700m and to main beach you can go also, but you háve to walk around main road so better to take tuk tuk.
All rooms are very clean and very friendly staff. Nice and calm surrounding. Very worthy to paid amount.
The bathroom was not very nice
Nothing - left after one night
The property is quite run down. The shower had no hot water and the advertised facilities were not there - we tried to leave early and paid full stay as one of the staff threatened us and was trying to prevent our driver from picking us up. Very dodgy and unsafe
A very modern, clean and comfortable property. Very friendly staff who are all working hard to keep the property looking tip top. Yamuna is a great host. The fireflies at night are amazing. See them out the back of the buildings in the property or just to the right outside the property (before Vin Foods restaurant) in the trees. The dog mentioned in another review was out and about (not in a cage)!
The shower requires patience to get working well enough. Low water pressure, even on ground floor.
We were here in the off season but flat screen tv, fitness centre, pool table were all advertised as features of the property. It had a flat screen tv but no subscription service in the off season ( we were really only interested in the Olympic Games ), there is no fitness centre ( not that I’ve ever used one) and the pool table was in pretty poor condition. None of this detracted from a lovely stay, but could easily be addressed by editing the property entry in booking dot com to reflect the reality of the property.
1) Each of us had separate villa (groundfloor) - really nice from space prospective
2) Good infrastructure - a little bit old, by overall nice
3) You can wash your cloth with ironing
