Black mold.
Pros:

Nice common space and good location.

Cons:

Booked 3 nights but stayed only 1 night.Paid 330yuan got 80 back. Dormitory room was neglected. Musty smell upon entering. Black mold along air conditioning conduit. Next day after hike, discovered a lot of mold covering the window behind the curtain.

Pros:

L'emplacement est idéal à 15 minutes à pied du Zhangjiajie National Park. Les lits sont très grands. Il y a une fontaine pour remplir nos bouteilles d'eau. Le rooftop et l'entrée sont très agréables, bien aménagés. Le personnel est très accueillant et aidant, pareil pour les autres voyageurs, il est facile de rencontrer du monde !

Cons:

La douche et les toilettes sont très anciens et juste à côté dans la même pièce donc ce n'est pas très propre et très humide. L'adresse n'est pas tout à fait exacte, il faut aller dans la petite rue juste avant l'adresse indiquée, sur la gauche. Sur Amap, il faut chercher Wulingyuan Yunye Hotel (Forest Park Symbol Salesroom) - 武陵源云野酒店(森林公园标志门店)

Great location but the hostel itself is largely neglected
Pros:

The only great thing about this hostel is its location.

Cons:

Very dirty, the rooftop area was not cleaned once during my stay, all bins and tables were overflowing with food which attracted lots of bugs and made it an unpleasant environment to relax in. The dorm bathroom had no lock. The dorm was also very untidy as the only thing that was ever cleaned was the bathroom and beds, not the communal shared areas within the dorm. They also gave my bed away to someone without telling me halfway throughout my stay, so i almost climbed into bed with a stranger when I went to bed (it’s dark and you couldn’t see).

Personal atento y muy servicial. Facil de conocer gente y hacer planes, Tashan es encantador y muy atento. Instalacions ok, y zona comun util. Muy buena relacion calidad - precio.

A nice hostel with helpful employees.
Pros:

The staff was really friendly. Upon arrival an employee helped me to figure out which route to do inside the forest park. This was really nice.

The common room is also comfortable and was a great place to sit.

The location is good. The hostel is located in a quiet street next to a larger street with plenty of restaurants.
The east entrance gate is a 20-minute walk.

Cons:

Upon arrival I had to make up the bed myself, which wasn’t really nice to do after a long day of travel.

Also, the bathroom which was adjunct to the dorm room, couldn’t be locked. This was not really comfortable while taking a shit.

Pros:

Really spacious beds for a hostel. Double beds with comfy bedding. Good staff and cool common room with a pool table.

Cons:

It was a bit loud from the road outside even with the window closed. Toilet roll ran out in the dorm bathroom.

Pros:

Ideal location next to the national park entrance, comfy and wide beds, and friendly vibe. Unbeatable value for money.

Cons:

There was no functioning lock on the bathroom door. Also, when the person whose key card was inserted in the slot left the room, the lights went out for everyone - not ideal in a shared dorm.
