A quite and exquisite hotel in Thimphu with perfect city view
Pros:

Room excellence in facility with impeccable balcony view

Cons:

The only drawback of this hotel is the location which is far away from any commercial presence, if you wanna take a walk nearly you basically need to walk for a while down to the riverside.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Nice room with a fantastic view of the Buddha Dordema, the staff and the hotel owner were very pleasant and obliging . Made us feel at home

If I come here again I would stay again
Pros:

Terrace with great view
Staff is very considerate, they think buffet breakfast won’t fit our appetite which was included in our stay( the breakfast there, are more for Indians, as majority of customers are from India), they asked us in advance to choose among the à la carte without paying extra

Cons:

The English level of some staff
I do think all Bhutanese are super friendly and nice, however there is still misunderstanding

Excellent Views of Buddha Point from room.
Staff Excellent. Food pretty good. Location quiet off from main town. Easily accessible to town in 5 to 10mins via taxi which can be arranged by staff. Very helpful staff who are readily available to assist in minutes. The front desk assisted is to book for excellent massage place in Thimpu.

Cons:

Hot water likely due to watet pressure is weaker. However, works reasonably.

Cama e chuveiro confortáveis e o quarto com vista para Buddha Point. Funcionários gentis.

Cons:

Café da manhã deixa a desejar com pouca opção de alimentos frescos (frutas frescas, um bom caffe expresso), não havendo composição do ambiente/ mesa para café, então parece ser um pouco deserto o hotel e serviços são pouco confusos. Falta deixar o ambiente mais aconchegante.. O hotel fica distante da rua principal, mas há muitas opções de táxi.

Outro ponto: booking.com não tem conhecimento das taxas locais, então não se surpreenda com uma cobrança a mais. Aqui a falha é do booking.com

Would have been a much better stay if the AC had not stopped working and if the food tasted better.
Pros:

Room and washroom were clean - although there were lots of bugs at times in the room and the cafeteria - the hotel did try to have repellants on at times.
The staff and hotel owner were nice and friendly.

Cons:

The air conditioner stopped working during the last two days of my trip and although the hotel owner did tell me he was trying to get it fixed, yet it never got fixed till I left. Being monsoon season, the afternoons were quite hot and I had to tolerate the heat due to lack of a better option.
Also, I was not compensated in any way for tolerating this issue and still had to pay the full room fee.
The food was average and was nothing extraordinary - the only nice thing on the menu was the grilled salmon fish. The rest was just average.

Pros:

Very spacious and bright room. We particularly liked spending the evening on the balcony, with amazing views over Thimphu.

Cons:

The service at the restaurant was a bit slow, especially given that we had placed our order in advance, but this is a minor point.

Lovely stay. Would recommend this place to everyone!
Pros:

Hotel is lovely and very well maintained.
Location - wanted something a little away from the central area and it was great because it was not too far away but not too close either to the main market etc. Nice and quiet.
Room - Was very nice, bright and sunny, clean ,comfortable,great heating , decor was great too.Our view from the balcony was nice both in the day and the night. Loved hanging out there.
Bathroom- Very clean and amazing shower.
Food - tried many things on the menu it was all good.
Staff - everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Special thanks to Mr loden the owner , he helped us a lot and also the Supervisor Mr Tshering . We got help with getting a taxi ,planing our trips and much more.

Cons:

Everything and everyone was great so no complaints at all.

Excellent choice in Bhutan
Pros:

I stayed at Phuntsho Khangsar during my recent visit to Bhutan, the hotel was more than what I expected it to be. The comfort cleanliness and hospitality of the staff really made my stay very comfortable. I got upgraded to the room with a view I would totally recommend spending a little more and booking the room with the view. But I’m here writing this review because I was really moved by the hotel staff who made me a take away breakfast with fresh fruits and eggs at 6am for my flight. Thank you :)

Pros:

This is a fantastic hotel. The view of peaceful Bhutan from this hotel, up on the mountain, is incredible. I woke up everyday with a beautiful mountain view through floor to ceiling windows. The beds and pillows are so comfortable and clean. The food is great and the staff is some of the best I've ever seen around the world. If you come to Bhutan and do not stay in this hotel, you are missing out!
