Tainted experience, otherwise nice
Pros:

Beautiful room, clean, nice pool, the people doing the service jobs there like housekeeping and gardening were very nice.

Cons:

Arrived and provided the booking info. The manager (presumably) checked me in and told me breakfast was included.
Aber a lengthy checkin process, probably 20 minutes we were done and I walked away. A few minutes later I came back to ask a question. The manager then said he has to double check and then said actually breakfast is not included. I then had to wait another 10 minutes there for him to remove that service.
Which was a very annoying and awkward experience. I feel like at that point a manager could make the call to just decide to make the breakfast complementary in this case and leave it. To first give a whole overview about breakfast and make the customer look forward to it and then make them stand there and wait until it gets removed again, that's just awkward. Everyone knows that food like this doesn't actually cost a big hotel much money. This experience just didn't seem to do justice to a reputable hotel like this.

Pros:

De kamer zelf was ruim en netjes. Prima uitgangspunt voor een safari in Wilpattu National Park.

Cons:

Helaas weinig restaurants in de buurt dus je bent eigenlijk genoodzaakt om bij het hotel te eten. Helaas was hier elke keer weinig van de kaart beschikbaar. Ook is de locatie nog echt in aanbouw wat goed te zien is buiten de kamers, als je naar het zwembad loopt.

Pros:

De aller mooiste kamer en lekkerste bedden van heel Sri Lanka. Restaurant was ook super lekker.

Cons:

Behalve Wilpattu is er niet echt wat te doen in de omgeving.

Чувствуешь себя будто ты в гостях у местной семьи
Pros:

- расположение ( слегка отдаленно от туристических мест ) , но отель организовал транспорт с аэропорта , что было вполне комфортно
- цена ( соотношение цены и качества лучше чем обычно)
- идеальная работа менеджера и персонала (организовали поздний ужин по приезду в 23:00, нужно куда-то тук тук- менеджер позвонил и транспортное средство подано) также приятный персонал, всегда здоровается и готов помочь ( но не все хорошо говорят на Английском)

Cons:

- во время нашего расположения проводились ремонтные работы, что привело к неким неудобствам. Поэтому минус 1 балл

Pros:

Die gute Lage zwischen Wilpatu Nationalpark und Anuradhapura . Das Personal war nett.

Cons:

Das Gelände war nicht wirklich schön, wild bewachsen, der Pool mit den alten Liegen nicht einladend.

Pros:

Het kingsize bed lag heerlijk. Grote kamer. Prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden. Mooi gebouw in koloniale stijl. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Cons:

De muggen! Koude douche.

Pros:

Liked · Staff very attentive especially housekeeping room boy who attended to all our needs. Food excellent , nice pool and lovely views over the paddy fields. Excellent service from Madushanka, Butti, Lahore and Pradeep. Breakfast pack provided for our safari. Rooms a good size. Good wifi

Erholsam, sauber und lecker! Sehr zu empfehlen!
Pros:

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (2 und 6 Jahre) zu Gast und wir alle haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer sowie die gesamte Anlage waren sehr sauber. Das Personal war von Herzen freundlich und stets bemüht. Wir haben dort auch gefrühstückt und einiges von der Karte probiert, alles war sehr, sehr lecker. Das Highlight für unsere Kinder waren der Pool und die Affen in den Bäumen 😅. Der Hotelmanager hat uns außerdem den Kontakt zu einem Tourguide im Nationalpark vermittelt. Der gesamte Aufenthalt war entspannend und wunderschön. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Liebe Grüße Karolina und Tharindu
