Prima hotel
Pros:

Een leuke locatie op loopafstand van een supermarkt en van het Queen's Park Savannah. Een rustige kamer, er zit een reisorganisatie met tours in het gebouw naast de receptie. Het ontbijt was prima. Omdat we de dag van uitchecken vroeg vertrokken mochten we het ontbijt verschuiven naar de dag dat we vroeg aankwamen in het hotel.

Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est
Pros:

Situé dans un quartier plutôt verdoyant et stratégique, nous avons disposé d'une chambre donnant sur les jardins de la résidence du premier ministre.
Mention spéciale pour la très sympathique réceptionniste qui nous a enregistré, attribué une meilleure chambre que le placard initialement prévu et, surtout, donné les bonnes adresses pour prendre le PDJ ou aller dîner.

Cons:

La première chambre qui nous a été attribuée disposaient de fenêtres basses et donnant directement sur un mur et des installations techniques ! Ce n'est qu'après protestations qu'on nous a donné une chambre plus conforme au standing de l'hôtel, même si on notera une certaine vétusté de ce dernier (douches, porte de chambre et murs peu/pas insonorisés).
Bref, on ne peut pas être et avoir été et si cet établissement a été un jour "haut de gamme", il n'est plus que l'ombre de lui-même et clairement trop cher en regard des niveaux de prix locaux.
IMPORTANT: le petit-déjeuner est minable ! Nous l'avions payé par avance mais avons fini, sur les bons conseils de la réceptionniste, par aller dans un excellent établissement situé à 10 minutes en voiture. Ils auraient au moins pu avoir la décence de nous le rembourser.

Disappointing return to what was once the pinnacle of perfection.
Pros:

The staff were as friendly as ever. The beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Ants in the bathroom. Not stocked with toilet paper. Raucous noisy guests who kept us awake into the early hours of the morning.

Private events at the hotel should not disrupt guests experience, sadly it did.
Pros:

The breakfast was okay. I asked for pancakes and was served toast.

Cons:

I checked in at approximately 5:15pm. I left at about 6: 30pm to attend an event. I returned to the hotel at 10:47pm. There was an event and there was loud music for this event. I went to my room and the sound vibration was intense and items in the room were also vibrating. I tried to sleep, that was impossible. The music and the dj ended at 2:47am. I was only able to sleep after the music stopped.

No one told us that there was going to have a party at the hotel, its ok, but what if we wanted to just relax and sleep. I don't have a problem with it but let the guess know.

Quaint little hide away
Pros:

Check in and out were very easy and quick, front desk Antonio very welcoming, helpful. Checkout with Jane made me want to stay another day.

Cons:

There were no bath mats, no hand towels, toiletries, very disappointing.

Pros:

Checkin was easy, however it was raining and we had to drag our luggage up outdoor stairs. There was a small shopping area on the property with some very cute stores. I purchased some unique handmade jewelery there. We didn't have time to check out the dining room.

Cons:

People in the room beside me were playing load music, screaming and slamming windows and doors until wee hours of the morning. Did not appreciate this.
